  3. What a fantastic day. I was meeting Russell at 10.00am so I went out for a couple of hours on my own to begin with. The roads where lovely and quiet and its just wonderful to be out on a fine winters morning. Anyway, met up with Russell and we took off to Whitby through various back roads and single track roads. Arrived in Whitby for food and met up with Craig Hudson for ten minutes. We decided that we would have a drive back through the moors and this is where our fun started. Our cars where a bit mucky but by the time we got home they where down right blathered. We went on a couple of roads that only 4x4 were on but we got through them and we couldn't stop laughing. It was the greatest fun and just sorry we didnt get any pictures but we just kept going. Big thanks to Russell for been well up for the fun we had today.

  4. Mrs H is getting concerned that she is the only lady booked as yet! Or isn't the attendees' list up to date? Come on wives and girlfriends, get booked up for this, it should be a great party.

  6. Good turn out this today for a cold February morning, 4 Westfields, 1 lotus and 3 in real cars. After feeding our faces we headed up to Steves @BugMan to see how he's getting on. Chassis almost done and the body on order, nice to see how they fit together.

  7. I had a press stud in the boot box and put the strap through the gap between boot lid and body. My boot lid is the older style where it has 2 pins that locate into body so you can take it right off.

  8. Sure the hood would be similar to the half rollbar on mine. I tried different places to pull the tension on the hood and I ended up at the factory location, which is under the boot lip I used some carbon patches to stop the strap rubbing on the body. Not an issue as such when clean, but grit and mud would easily cause a bit of damage
