  1. I started early: The one above was more reliable than this one, though it's got the same pedal rubbers as my Westie!

  4. Keep yer hair on How was I supposed to know there’s no chassis number? No chassis number means no ID. Now that’s a problem.

  8. Don't have a digital photo of my first, but this was my second. Built '76 and sold '84 after 91,000 miles. Still going strong in 2000 when it was exported to Italy; may still be driving around Milan

  9. @Thrustyjust Nice Mini's - like the second one with the cage. Here was my one (description above) in touring mode (roof-rack).

  10. I guess we could also include listing all our fun cars cars here too ! I started with cars then spent time in company vans and cars , then was able to get my own. My first car was a 1972 Mini Mk3, which I rebuilt a Cooper 1000 and stuck it in , then a 1961 Mk1 which I rebuilt into a Cooper S replica was a 1340cc , then a gap while I bought houses , then a Westie Pre-Lit , then a gap for houses and kids and a wedding . Then a Westie SEIw Zetec, then a TVR S3 , moving onto a Lotus Elise Mk2 111's, then a mental Focus St Mk2 , to then end up with my Westie Mega S2000. May have some photos somewhere of the minis. Will dig them out later and try and add them to the thread. Bit blurry, but here they are. First is me changing the engine to the cooper one and a rod change gearbox conversion Second is the Mk1 after the bare shell rebuild

  14. I am eager to put some plans together to be at Shelsley Walsh SS 21st Aniversary. I would like to offer my services. I am a veteran of the Speed Series. I have organised Speed series events at a number of venues. I was principal organiser of the Yorkshire Experience. All of these being promoted over 1 Year in advance. I am more than a little concerned I can’t find a way of registering an entry. It’s only 5 Months away. Who is the principal organiser ?
