After somehow coming across a video on YouTube of a chap who had made himself a Harley Davidson sign out of wood with not much more than a router and a gas torch I thought how difficult could it be so I set about trying to recreate one of our company logos that is already in use throughout our showroom in wood! I was really pleased with the results and cost £10 for a used scaffold board, a few quid for the gas I used - obviousely excluding any tools I had to invest in I did take some pics of the process so if you are interested I will pop them up later2 points

You certainly don’t look like a lovely old man. (remembers what Stu’s other hobby is, and runs and hides, )1 point

My parents have an XE R sport from New it's been back in to have two rear light clusters and a new boot seal which apparently was leaking but my parents wasn't so they changed it anyway and now it leaks lol but other than that it's a nice car and they have been pleased with it1 point

Small fuel tank I believe, as every single one i've ever seen at a petrol station, only seems to be able to take the minimum delivery On a more serious note I heard that the XF headlight unit (either DRLor sidelight or indicator) LEDs are known to fail, they're a sealed unit, an MOT fail, and cost around £1300 per side for new units.1 point

Yes all freehand with a router although the design was printed off to size and used as the template - used a router fence for some of the straight edges (bit of wood clamped down)1 point

I'm just up the road in Shelley, and am part way through a Sport 250 build, if you fancy having a look/chat/coffee PM me if your interested? I'd highly recommend you come along to one of the meetings we have in the areas, Robin is our local AO, and runs a couple of meetings a month, like this one I normally come along the the breakfast meeting every month, and have to say its a great bunch of like minded people, who are very friendly and have a wealth of knowledge, and can give you a great insight into WF ownership.1 point
