  1. Hi, New member here. Purchased a 1998 factory built 1.8 zei back in November last year. The car was a barn find which had lay untouched for 10 years. Following a light restoration, the car is now back up and running. Look forward to many miles this year in the car!

  5. I Just want to thank everyone for their advise I think I've found a decent one more to what will suit our needs. Its a Auto trail 2.3 10 plate with rear lounge and 6 berth with six seat belts its done low miles and is pristine inside and out and will suit us for UK touring a couple of holidays away a year with the TVR and of course visiting the SS and watching you fine boys compete! 6. I don't think enough details on the format and pricing have yet been published to assess the overall appeal but I saw the day being an opportunity to give people from across the club who may not otherwise have a chance, the opportunity to drive the hill and perhaps even get them interested in the speed series as well as allowing more seasoned drivers to get a bit of practice. Perhaps even some demo drives and a parade of notable speed series cars past and present? The evening I understood was a celebration of the speed series and hoping to attract members past present and future. I think the evening would not be the same if some key members of the speed series couldn't attend. The awards do was unfortunately diluted this year due to a clash with BHC and was the worse for it IMHO.

  7. This car replaces the MINI we had which was hands down the most unreliable piece of s*** I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned a Rover 620ti.

  9. Heated seat allows you to do this! Last Wednesday took a 2hr drive to the Peak District and went over Winnates Pass. Warm as toast without a roof on!
