  3. I don't think enough details on the format and pricing have yet been published to assess the overall appeal but I saw the day being an opportunity to give people from across the club who may not otherwise have a chance, the opportunity to drive the hill and perhaps even get them interested in the speed series as well as allowing more seasoned drivers to get a bit of practice. Perhaps even some demo drives and a parade of notable speed series cars past and present? The evening I understood was a celebration of the speed series and hoping to attract members past present and future. I think the evening would not be the same if some key members of the speed series couldn't attend. The awards do was unfortunately diluted this year due to a clash with BHC and was the worse for it IMHO.

  6. The catch tank was actually the reason I bought this car. I loved the originality of it.

  8. Epic catch tank!! XDXD Thanks good Zetecs doesn't breath much!! if not would be difficult to keep the engine bay as clean! Shame of this rather inmaculate and minimalistic builds, is that somehow, people very often forgets how things should be build, and not how should look. Few very courious bits in this engine bay. .

  9. Hold on....What's the commonly used phrase in situations where the established elite are trying to access your personal information for financial gain??? Oh yes, that's it........... "I don't care, i've got nothing to hide" Only this isn't actually as intrusive as internet snooping, because your bank account doesn't accidentally click on a popup taking you to some dodgy website, making you look like the next Jimmy Saville.

  11. I’d hope so... But more seriously, there are usually plenty of most style of Westfield for Sale if you step back and keep an eye on the market for a month or two. What really breaks my heart is seeing a nice condition tradition car bought and immediately ripped apart to have cycle wings, carbon replacement panels, full cages, stripped out interior etc fitted. Usually resulting in a more tatty looking car, with holes left where original fitments were. No, please don’t misunderstand me, I’ve nothing against this style of car, I used to own one, and would again. BUT, why not just start with one more like this in the first place, rather than taking away all the originality of a traditional car, that can never be put back again. I know we all like to stamp our own personality on these things, but that is possible without taking everything away from the original. Obviously, it’s different if the original bodywork is really tatty and just can’t be saved, but so often that’s not the case.

  12. That’s a nice looking car with proper front wings cant really help with your question but if you’ve recently purchased and are happy with what you paid then that’s all that matters. It’s really a mute point as unless speculating as an investment by the time you enjoy, potter and add your own touch the base cost soon becomes irrelevant as you never (or very rarely) get back what you put in so reap all the smiles you can, use her as much as you can , and most of all enjoy her as these things are priceless
