  1. Wifes just made me help with the Christmas cards. 'Then its done' , I was told. I said not to put stamps on the older peoples cards, incase they pop off before we need to send them . Now she wants the advent calendars out the loft................... I need to go in the garage and find things to do, before the sodding tree comes out too.................

  2. Fab day at Donington, track was very cold first thing and with cold tyres understeered of at redgate on the 2nd lap (whoops), had a spin a bit later, dipstick somehow dislodged itself in the afternoon so the engine oil decided to coat the inside of the bonnet (and everything else backwards of the engine) and due to the high speed nature of the track, the plastic cycle wings decided to feed themselves to the front tyres and disintegrate. All in all, best day out I've had in a long time Couple of videos to follow when I've got time to upload them. P.s. Nice to meet you Steve, and sorry for using all your tissue! Scott

  3. All booked up. Meet at the Head of Steam on the Quayside (not the one near the Station!) from 7.00pm (or maybe a tad earlier) then on to Aneesa's Buffet on the Quayside (not the one in Shields!) for 8.00pm. Trust me to pick two places with dual personalities! See you all there.

  6. To take the whole car you need little more than a sack truck to take it away. Depends where you park the car i'd say to be honest. Its hard to measure there effectiveness only there ineffectiveness...

  7. Playing? This is a serious industry....... That's the worst bit for me. Being in a group of drunks and being stone cold sober. Well apart from the kids that is...... Hopefully Santa brings some good toys and things for me to build with the kids while the grown ups drain the wine.

  10. https://www.driftworks.com/internal-drive-wheel-nuts-m12-black-and-silver.html i use these the tool fits inside the nut rather than outside so you dont mark your wheels

  11. the team dynamics generally have quite a narrow hole, hence Simon's question. I suspect most/not many locking nuts will not fit! I've used these: Spline Closed External Drive Splined Tuner Wheel Nuts STEEL - Black - M12 x 1.5 which require the supplied tool to remove them. I've covered the tool with heatshrink to prevent chipping the paint around the wheel nuts. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spline-Closed-External-Drive-Splined-Tuner-Wheel-Nuts-STEEL-Black-M12-x-1-5-/271583831391?hash=item3f3ba8655f They have gone slightly rusty where the tool must has marked the paint on the nuts.

  16. My cards are unsigned but all the address labels are printed and stamps bought. I send them on 30 November and get amusingly irritated calls and messages from friends and family in early December. What else is Christmas for? Also bought half a dozen of these for a few choice deserving people to receive anonymously (NSFW language) https://www.comedycard.co.uk/collections/rude-christmas-cards?page=1
