  1. Ordered these a couple of weeks ago and they arrived today. Brilliant service from GSM Performance. The harnesses look and feel a quality item, and so looking forward to getting them installed.

  2. Hi all, It is the Warwickshire Area meeting tpmorrow Thursday 16th as usual. As many people have taken their cars off the road for the winter so there is unlikely to be Westfields in the car park but we will be tucked up at the back of the bar. If you have not been to our meetings before and you are not sure about finding us inside then please look for our new table top banner that clearly identifies us. We currently hold the meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Falcon Inn in Hatton. With people starting to turn up from around 19:30. Falcon Inn @ Hatton The address is for all of you with SatNavs : Birmingham Road Hatton Warwickshire CV35 7HA

  4. After witnessing first hand how much my head hurt after interface with cage whilst wearing a helmet, I personally think you'd be bonkers not to wear one in a caged car.

  5. That was the Good Old Days Jeff and if it happened now I reckon not only would there be a lawsuit against the company but the individual under the transit would require years of therapy and most likely never work again. Changed times indeed.

  6. The harnesses pull down to tighten. There is also a loop of material on the buckle that you pull upwards to lengthen the lap belt.

  7. Blacklisting by Micro$haft Outlook via Office 365 is a bugbear. We keep on posting delist requests and then a month or so later they decide we’re naughty boys again. No idea why we get targeted but also not a lot we can do other than be vigilant for any nefarious activity on the site.

  11. I love how you have posted a photo of the closed box, resulting in me thinking 'huff, lets have a look then'. Next, you tease us with the open box, me thinks 'ooh good, is there more?' Then our patience is rewarded with a full picture of them, followed by a close up too. I can't see on the cleaning instructions how best to remove the cow deposits (I hope that is worded correctly, just in case your granddaughter reads this) They are lovely, your granddaughter should feel nice and safe in those, and colour matched to Buttercup as a bonus. Let us know when how you get on with them please.

  16. Most roll cage padding is NOT designed to save your skull in an accident, though will obviously help with any casual bangs while getting in and out. Roll cage padding is normally designed to work with a car type crash helmet*, so that the helmet isn’t obliterated on the first strike. I’m sure I remember a few years ago though, that someone had managed to find one particular manufacturer of padding that was intended for a bear head. (*car type crash helmets are designed for the very specific impacts you’d likely get in a race car crash, such as hitting the roll cage, motorbike helmets are designed for bike crashes, so hitting a large flat surface like the road, and abrasion from the road etc. the requirements are subtlety different. Though either are fine when it comes to stone impacts and other road debris).

  17. I started servicing my own 8yr old 5 series a couple of years aog which I've had main dealer'd from new The biggest bug-bear was the computer warning service messages, which you're able to reset via a manual interface (see google) but once past their due date were impossible to cancel without plugging them into a BMW dealership brain. Then I had a sudden epiphany, and deployed an old PC trick by setting the date and time of the car back a few months, switching off and back on, then resetting the service intervals via the manual menu interface, switching off and on again and updating the date and time. Worked a treat...!

  18. 2pm Mrs TJ on text........................ I got the new job, I am really happy Me ........................... Well done wife. So glad for you 2:30pm Mrs TJ on text...................... Dont be angry........... I crashed the new Volvo Me............................. Oh.................... great........... you can pay the excess with your new wages All I can say is that Volvo Vs a Fiesta = bit of paint on the Volvo bumper, new rear fog light ( well newer, it is only 4 months old!) . Fiesta (2015) from what she could see was a new door needed as stoved in and couldnt open it. , wheel arch and maybe B post ...................... luckily when I took the policy out, as its mine, I left it that she could call them if required. Well, guess whats tomorrows job is ? My boss said it could be worse. She could have piled the car into the garage and squashed the Westie.............
