  1. Been trying new materials and blades for my vynil cutter, so decieded to do it with a funny design, so as soon as the result was acceptable, I could offer them for free to you guys. That will happen every now and then, as to find the parameters every time I change the blade or the vynil supplier, I have to waste a few inches of material finding the parameters. This time, testing has been done as "from ape to kit car" Darwin style evolution stickers. There is 5 of them in chrome yellow. Yes, I only have 5 No, there is no more colors available right now. You pay the stamp via paypal, I pay the envelope and I take the hassle to go to the post office. They are about 18cm long *Terms and conditions: You must be a paying member. You must stick it to your kit car, and post a picture... so, we create a bit of a contest. Yo must not have a yellow car... for obvious reasons. @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary hope I´m not doing anything wrong... I tag you so you find it straightforward, and if you wish move it or delete it.

  3. My title sounds like we are following a bus route, but I can assure you that there are no buses where we are going. Meet at Halfords, Ashbourne, 10.30am on SUNDAY 21st October. From there we travel North-ish, for 1 hour and 15 minutes, to our lunch stop at midday. After lunch we travel, sort of South-ish for 30 minutes, to the cake stop. It all finishes at the cake stop, which is halfway between Ashbourne and Buxton, at around 3pm, depending on how much chatter there is. This signals the end of all the car related events as we settle back in to making our own merriment in the Peak District. It may be moved to Sunday if the weather is better. IT HAS MOVED TO SUNDAY Anyone coming along?

  6. I was only adding a white square background... but if is going in the white stripe, I dont have to, and will be 100 times better and neater than with a white background. however... Given that I´m super friendly... if you have a yellow car... just tell it... and will put a white stripe in the background, so you can have it like this. 3 assigned, @Hemsley included unless he rejects to it. Two for grabs!!

  10. Due to the level of calls and feedback from WSCC members I have decided to withdraw the car from sale. Thank you and apologies to all those that expressed an interest in purchasing over the last 24hours. Big thanks to Chris and Luke who told me to "go give my head a shake" !

  11. You're right....being in the USA we miss out on the personal interaction with the other club members but I must say that this forum is a very valuable resource. When I owned a Birkin I participated on a Birkin owners email list and it was anything but open or helpful. All too many members made fun of you for asking a question instead of helping to answer it. In the end the email list was worthless to me............whereas this forum has given me answers and ideas and community. The value of this can not be overlooked. Thank you all for making this a cool place to spend time. dave

  16. Captain- LOL that was pretty good! Even with the Minnesotan accent! There is always next year... Dave-thanks for the information and spending the time on the post. It was exactly what I was looking for. I have been in contact with Tom and he has been working on finding a Westfield I can see in person. I told him maybe I make it to MT in November. Hopefully it works out. I should know more soon. James

  18. I doubt if that would stay put over about 30mph, and if it did it would flap about so badly your gel coat on the bodywork would be damaged. I've only ever seen one towable fitted cover, and it was a close fitting, heavy waterproof fabric thing with a soft liner. My solution to the problem was just to make the interior water resistant.. no carpets or squidgy seats. If it gets wet, dry it off with a towel, and away we go.
