  7. Was good to see so many faces today. We managed to get Martin home after the bump start. I am thinking starter motor as the issue. He is going to test the battery. The battery was green on it, so might be OK, just no solenoid click. Didnt take any piccies today, as didnt have a chance as answering build questions ( hope I made sense at what I was saying !!) . Any help people need , just pm me here. Car was faultless. No coolant leaks now, which was great. 80 miles later and home

  8. Thanks guys. I installed it all a long while ago but had to repair a few parts due to some water damage. The dome and the panelled ceilings where quite bad but looking better now. Around the same time, I had two packs of blue bricks left from a chamber and I built this.

  11. Thanks for organising another great trip out Kev, I know everyone appreciates your efforts. I'm glad to say I dont ache too much with only my dodgy shoulder playing up, I think the wet session saved me...... I think we should get some practice in before next year, with some tuition from Ken and next year we can go for the outright win!

  12. https://www.tts-performance.co.uk/single-post/2017/03/09/Ford-20ltr-Zetec if you haven't already seen. I have a TTS DIY Hayabusa kit fitted to my engine and the machining is very nice indeed.

  13. And many thanks to you Kevin for organising it. Great fun and oh-so close to a trophy...... of course, they did have to pay £150 each for that 6 seconds!

  14. Well as a very rough guide for the 2.0 ecoboost. 1500 used engine 1500 ecu pack (ford racing ready mapped 252bhp out the box) 300 clutch 250-500 gearbox 500-800 intercooler package 300 sump 500 ish on hoses etc Versus 3500+vat for the rotrex (plus intercooling) for circa 220bhp. But they go up to 400bhp......
