  2. I vowed never to have a private plate until this came up, I couldn't help myself. My point is that if I had a Q plate I'd have been stuck with it.

  9. Might have been a fiesta XR2 pump you had on there, as they had to squeeze it in the car. Just get the Escort one and see how it lines up. You may need to just bin the shim.

  10. Last Tuesday.. There was five there. Oulton's a superb circuit, its a bit like a bigger Cadwell. I would say Cadwell is the track made for Westfields, but the truth is you have to get round and sample them all. They all have their good bits, some more good bits than others but they all have to be done.

  11. I am a Snap on Tool Franchisee and I can honestly say the Halfords set is great for the money. I would have it for the weekend kit but I would upgrade the ratchet for a Snap on one. Only time it becomes a problem is if you are a mechanic working those tools every day of the week, that said providing your local Halfords are ok, they will keep fixing it! I have had plenty of halfords traded in and I have passed them on to weekend mechanics who love it.

  14. Spanish insurers cover cars in TF. Is considered a public road... so, said in other words, there is no expecific exclusion to the official road name of the ring (i dont remember which one it is) (and we now that from pretty first hand... not my car but nearly). However, your car, should be the last of your worries... Track time lost because of your incident, armco barriers, spilling oil or coolant and being found gilty... No insurance against the bill that the private company of the ring will issue against you... and that will likely be the expensive and ruining thing. Last friend involved (without causing the crash by himself in the first instance) have a pending bill over 200K euros, that is going to be claimed in court... that happened in a multiple crash, because a posh Mclaren spilled coolant on the floor and about 12 cars were involved. Bill for the Mclaren is greater... Probably you are already aware of how ruining can be the ring... but just in case. If you have booked with RSR, ask for Serxio from and say hello from me My advice for the ring... the cheapest car possible, and if in crash... just abandon it and run. I'm a big fan of the ring, but has turned out in a crazy and unsafe thing due the hype and trendy moment the track is living... Stay safe out there.
