  1. Should still be good for this, will see you there though, hopefully will meet up with @IanK (Bagpuss) on route though, so it’s easier for us to head direct. Don’t let Martin and Sue eat all the cake

  2. I had a great time today even after not making it there in the car. Thanks to everyone who gave me passenger rides. And thank to Steven for organising it.

  5. Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone for braving the weather and coming, your bravery was rewarded with the weather we had. The rain stopped just after the briefing and then the sun came out and dried the track........ never trust the weather forecast for Llandow I'll be most likely repeating this again next year, so keep your eyes peeled

  6. That would be a zero hours contract for pilots. They are supposed to be able to take over in an emergency but sadly failed in the case of Air France 447 from Brazil in 2009. How about zero hours contracts for our MPs and Lords?

  12. David, Based on previous years, all drivers arriving in a classic or kit car are directed to the outside show area which has been right next door to the kit car inside area for the last couple of years, tin tops parking is outside the show gates. Complete Kit Car are the organisers of the kit car area of the show, page 27 of the October edition invites applications for inside stands to adam@performancepublishing.co.uk. The inside area allocated to the Dorset Area is already fully allocated but you might be able to get Adam to extend it for an extra car (although the whole building has been getting fuller every year since the invitation was extended to kit cars). Cars on the inside area stands have to be on site before opening and can't leave until after closing so it can be quite restrictive. It's best to buy tickets in advance as you get a 20% discount - link is posted above If you're interested, the Dorset area are currently holding their monthly meeting at the Rest and Welcome Inn on the A37 at Melbury Osmond, DT2 0NF at 8pm on the first Thursday of every month, so very close if you're South Somerset based. 15. Technically I am! My degree was in "Industrial Design (Engineering)" - and I have a bit of paper proving it - despite never doing any real Engineering and now I'm more of a cross between a programmer and a designer. Just wait for the advert in around 2040 when I eventually sell mine to fund a self driving mobility scooter - Built by a qualified Numerical Engineering Reactive Designer or NERD for short

  16. Through some 280 dia discs on and a set of Willwood midilights. They just fit in a 15 inch wheel with a few mm to spare and can stop on a button. Simply awesome.
