  1. I must say a massive thankyou to Steve Bogg from Bogg Brothers near Scarborough for getting us fixed first thing after the bank holiday. We slammed a few big holes over the weekend and needed the rear wheel carrier welding back on and all the rivets underneath the spare wheel holding the tub to the chassis had sheared. If you ever around here and need help he's your man.

  6. I put loads of graphite grease in mine and it makes it smoother and no play. You could remove it and use some very thin shimming material to take up the wear by sliding between the column and bush .

  7. So car fun today. I took a trip down to JPR tuning in Yate. I have had the car 10 months, a couple of track days have been done and I've driven a fair few road miles. The car has a 2.0 zetec throttle bodies and emerald ecu and sold to me with “165” bhp ( but no dyno graph). It felt pretty fast but I started to think it was not so good low down and felt like it was dragging a bit. I had rung John at JPR on a google search when I was first on the hunt for a car and tried one with carbs. He was really helpful, I did not buy that car but I knew if I wanted any work doing I’d call him. He started looking at the map on the car (a bit miffed by it) , made some changes and we did quite a few runs more tweaks and a couple of hours later it was making 178bhp and 151 torques. Making power all the way through the rev range and he said safely too. Not bad for a 96 mondy lump. He was impressed with it, so was I it was like a different car on the way home..... so punchy and keeps on going… well happy Any one need any work done I can’t recommend JPR enough John knows his onions. ………next job improve brakes lol on the rollers pic and dyno graph

  8. A couple of videos from me.. First one is a clip from the morning in the dry. There's a bit of an "eek!!" moment when a BM compact spun. And, the second vid is some of the afternoon's sessions strung together.. conditions ranging from Powerboating to just plain wet. It ends with a trip down the escape road.. time to quit while ahead! I really enjoyed the wet track, but I know a big expensive whump isn't far away!

  13. ECOR = ex-chairman off road After weeks and weeks of work and several thousand quid spent, I was putting literally the finishing touches on the full kitchen refit this afternoon. Up a step ladder when without warning the steps shot out from under me sideways and before I knew it, I was on the floor on my left side, dazed and confused. After about 30 seconds, the pain started to get my attention big style. Within two minutes, I was really suffering and in extreme pain, particularly my lower left arm. One ambulance ride to A & E later (no blues and twos, how disappointing, but lots of gas and air) and three hours later, I'm home with a broken left ulna fractured just above the wrist, which still hurts like hell. Worse, with my forearm in a full cast, no driving for six weeks. First time I've ever broken a major bone in my life, a record I was proud of. This sucks.
