  1. Click Me! Bargain ratchet/socket set at Halfords. Lifetime guarantee, decent range of socket sizes metric and imperial. I've had a similar set for 5-6 years now, done me well through many an hour in the garage. Only bought one of these as sockets have slowly been lost. I did strip a ratchet once, but it was in an emergency "need to use a jack handle as an extension bar" (!!!) situation, ratchet rebuild kits for them are only £2! Get on it before they sell out, a very good quality set for the price.

  4. We are planning to attend an annual car show at a farm near to Curborough sprint course. It usually covers two fields with a wide selection of classic cars, trucks, buses, tractors, campers, motorbikes, auto jumble, hog roast and all the usual catering vans etc. There is no need to book, as cars are parked as they come in, so to ensure that we can park together I suggest anyone who wants to join us gathers at Curborough to be ready to leave there around 10.00am. It is held as a charity fundraiser and is £4 per car on entry, please try to have the change ready so that we can get off the road quickly. There is a sprint on at the Curborough track so we will probably get there early to have a mooch around the paddock first! Anyone else coming?

  8. Can't do this one as at Shelsley, but had a mixed weekend on 5th and 6th August. For those that have not been to Harewood before its a bit technical to say the least and as can be seen I spent most of my time grass cutting as I was trying too hard to catch up with the locals Here's a better run looks slow, but still 5 seconds quicker than last year: and here's one from last weekend at Shelsley a new PB of 28.95s

  10. Retail price = £260 the pair, sale price with discount code and free delivery = £50.75, not really needed but you'd be insane not to, ordered. The deep sockets will be useful for sure. Well done and thanks @tkm_dave

  11. I've offered Bunjis place to Scott just waiting for his conformation and moved the rest of the reserves up the list. I still have a couple of people who have not paid their deposits and have been in touch with most of them but don't have any contacts for : Andy Barclay ( ) - Deposit Pending So Andy if your still interested could I have your deposit before the end of week to confirm your place. If the deposits are not paid the reserves will be offered the place. Regards, Steve

  12. I remember being badly affected by the deaths of Henri Toivonen and his co-driver Sergio Cresto in the 1986 Corsica rally.

  13. I'll disagree with Scott too . 7" headlights look nice and traditional IMO and I'd stick with 15" wheels for the same reason. Minilites would be fine.

  14. Yes I remember just how much of @chriss1455 exhaust was held on with cable ties during our last euro trip. Would never leave the country without them!
