  1. One thing I'd never really liked on my car was the original aeroscreen, did not look integrated at all so decided to order and fit a Carbon NV aeroscreen. Liaised with Mark and agreed on a V pattern with the weave, arrived on Tuesday and the quality is superb. Bonded the four fixing bolts supplied by Mark with Vudu-Glu (highly recommended) to utilise the same holes as on the old screen. Very happy with the new look and hopefully the expense has now stopped - £1500 on upgrades since buying the car in Feb but now got it pretty much exactly how I want it

Trouble with westfields is it's the package.... great power to weight.... great fun..... great pose value....whether you like it or not, you get comments every time you go out..... great club and generally great people who are owners..... best of all, fantastic fun / bang for your buck..... i chased a ferrari 455 the other week, blooming lovely car and of course MUCH quicker than me, but he had to be on it at the start lol....got me thinking that I was having as much as a rush as he was was 5% of the cost.... Anyone else coming? We will be there from about 9am, leaving around 10am for a drive up the A515 to Matlock to meet @Julie Hall - AO Representative, Peak District AO at the toilets in Matlock (see seperate thread!)

  6. Wow, I am impressed, what a journey Andrew. Well I can inform you that there are no sex shops to navigate by, so you will just have to come through the shops of Matlock, and when you get trees either side of the road, the car park is fairly quickly on the left. There are yellow fixed speed cameras (40mph) just near the entrance. For the Westfield Incontinence Society there are toilets in the car park.

  8. True story, I worked for a large Northern tyre and exhaust chain and one of the directors told the manager to cut the grass in front of his depot. The manager pointed out they did not have anything to deal with the grass, so was told to just buy something and do it. A couple of months later, the director was driving past the depot and tethered up on the neatly trimmed grass was a goat. He stopped and went in and with some anger asked what the **** a goat was doing on the front. "That is flymow, he eats the grass lives in the depot at night and the kids and parent love him to bits" "We called him flymow as the accounts would never have believed we had bought a goat so that's what the invoice said" "Since we have had him sales have gone up as no one can miss him outside and if they need tyres or exhaust curiosity gets the better of them" Flymow was the only goat the company had but it lived a full life and the grass was always neat

  9. You need to be supple that's for sure, so not for everyone but I've seen Barney and he'd have no problem. S2 is a different kettle of fish from the S1 IMHO. S1 wasn't designed to ever have a roof for example which is a good indication of the designer's ethos.

  10. Never mind the words, who in the club is going to stand in front of the board in a preposterously short skirt and put the letters up?

  12. Didn't think there was in terms of overall colours - mainly mobile layout tweaks from memory. I'll look into it at some point - but my timescale for non-critical work is hopefully 2nd week in September when the wife is away for a week - but don't tell anyone

  13. I used two small black rivets for each cannard, and put a washer behing the GRP just in case before flattening the rivet. Used 4 screws (2 are the numberplate screws at the front) to hold the splitter in place. It's fairly secure and can be removed, if required) easily. I did buy Silkoflex to bond it too but quite like the ability to take it off for a good clean now and again.

  14. Forum vendors report nothing suspicious and no other reports for similar activity on other forums that they support. I have added the forum to my Google Webmaster Tools account to allow me to perform more in-depth investigations and I am currently waiting for Google to fully 'spider' the site.

  15. I can see a theme here... all you need now is to powder coat the wheels and wait for me to fit a V8 bonnet

  16. Canards I just stuck on with carbond & splitter has 4 rivets holding it on, 2 at the front & 1 either side. Different makes but same idea, this is the only pic I have at the moment.

  17. OK then here goes the "Squeaky Spanners" explanation. It was @marcusb who started it, he was thinking about my squeaky brakes and came up with this. How he came up this this i don't Know but I think it involved a few beers and Ebay. The prerequisite to the video was that we have just been on track and @W Shep said my brake lights weren't working.

  19. Sheep or goats. Work all day long and take the grass right down. You even get bonus wool or milk, and lamb chops if you change models regularly. You'll be the talk of the neighbourhood.
