So the new format wscc.co.uk has been up for a while now, I hope folks are getting used to it and find it a bit more in keeping with modern look and feel and compatibility across different devices. Response has been minimal to the changes (there have been some and they are being addressed) so one can assume all is good generally...? However, I am prepared to put in even more time and effort to help get the new site into better shape but I need you to help guide me please. I expect the stats will show that around and post Stoneleigh, the site gets a few more visits than usual - in which case it would be good to get as many updates, changes, grammar corrections, etc, etc. in now. The purpose of the site should be informative for all including existing members but also to draw in new members. So, let me know by email, PM or by reply to this thread if you have any thoughts on content, navigation, missing information, too much information and I'll look to spruce things up in time for Stoneleigh - thanks

I'll be popping in one day either Sat or Sun depending on the weather. I've been every year for the last ten and every time I promised I'll get myself a 7 type car. This will be my second Stoneleigh in my own kit car

A Great night last night, even though I don't generally do Pizzas My sat nav would not find the flippin' place and sent me round in circles, just 100 yards from Market place. Then on the way home the M/way access jct was closed, so for the next 5 miles all the sat nav wanted me to do was 'turn around when possible' Luckily we could see the stars so I navigated my way home the old fashioned way

Hi Andy, We would want all previous years accessible. I would say last years in the normal format but a spreadsheet download for all previous years (including the last) would be great. I use the results archive in a number of ways... As a member of SSOT to look at historical trends and results. As a SS competitor to see previous years times and to compare myself with how others have done. Paul

To those of you with Quaife dog boxes, the oil is recommended by Quaife for them and is a bargain at the advertised price. Demon Tweeks want more than double that for the same quantity

Supercarclassics is like 5 minutes from me but he doesn't seem to get many Mk1's in any more. His stock is usually good quality though and if one you fancy comes up I'd happily go and take a preliminary look for you. Having owned one and ripped one apart for my WF, I know these cars well.

My coins flipped the other way.. I take my westfield, missis takes the tintop , we take one of our kids in each. We all put our names down to help for a bit so we all get in free!! We can then all camp free!! We all get fed and waterered by WSCC Sat BBQ and Sunday hog roast free! We take some other food /drink with us, so the weekend main cost is just the fuel :-)
