  2. Just thought I'd mention that the new wscc.co.uk site is up and running. A huge Thumbs up to @Andy Banks - WSCC Shows and Events Coordinator and @Tigger for their work on this. It is still an ongoing job but we figured it was best to switch over now and add in more content as we go.

  3. Well, I am over the moon with the fact that after several months of hard work putting everything back together in my Westy she has passed with flying colours! On the flip side I am absolutely gutted I need to leave her with my parents in the Scottish Borders and get the bus home due to a mega down-pour of Snow! Talk about mixed emotions!

  4. If you still get the old site, you'll need to refresh your browser cache, usually F5 or Ctrl and F5. Try it out on your phones and tablets too. Hope you like it...

  7. Try Sophos..... commercial software that is now offered FREE for home users. https://home.sophos.com/ For those that say they use other free products and have not had a virus it probably means the product isn't able to detect anything - they are all signature based applications that are updated daily to find the bad stuff out there.

  8. Hello, I'm Iain and a new WSCC Trader! I supply a vehicle collection-delivery service covering the UK, specialising in transporting vehicles to events, shows, vehicle preparation workshops, track days, etc. We also collect /deliver purchased vehicles on behalf of clients where the vehicle is not yet roadworthy or road legal. We are equipped with a remote control winch so we can handle non-running vehicles. All vehicles are moved in a covered unmarked Large Eco race trailer so they are out of the elements and out of sight during transport. We are fully insured and have many years of experience in transporting vehicles (CPC Qualified) including my own Westfield and each car is treated with care and respect as if it was our own. Please contact me with your individual requirements so we can put a quote together based on your individual needs. We are based in the Midlands in Stafford but cover the UK. My mobile is 07803 280 406, and my email is freelanceserve@virginmedia.com

  9. My personal thanks for making this happen at last. It's been on my list for years now and was going to be my only regret at not having at least started before I retired. It's a work in progress and it will evolve into something terrific in time, but the team have put down a great foundation and made me very happy - well done lads.

  18. I saw the prototype at the Advanced Manufacturing Show Main weight saving is the w**kel engine with only 12kgs saving coming from the Carbon Fibre Tub The front and back frames are as per the normal steel chassis and are bolted to strengthed areas of the tub which looked quite straight forward. The big downside is the likely cost of an after market tub in relation to the the weight saving! Hope this helps Graham

  19. Think I would be curious to see how they hang the rear suspension around the diff as this is the bit that breaks on Westfield's. Not sure on the space Frame to tub connection, but seems as substantial as any single seater. More stiffness and less weight? Let's see. I think I'll let other pioneer this route, I do think have the "appetite" (read money, time, inclination) for it any more!
