  2. About time too. Managed a healthy 140 mile blast today, Whitchurch, Ruthin, Denbigh, Cerrigydrudion, (Bacon buttie and tea) Bala, Llangollen back to Whitchurch. Man it felt good to be out again. Evo triangle was epic (and empty) Horseshoe pass fabulous too. Roll on Spring

  4. Do you know Julie, you are right. The ones we frequent have young healthy looking staff, perhaps they should swap with Health food shops and it might put me off cake.

  5. People who serve large slices of cake in cafe's always look both healthy and happy, so I think that will justify my continuance with my 'healthy balanced diet' as they say.

  6. I have had a bus pass for 14 years and never used it as it is possible to travel to several towns but not return the same day!!!!! What I have just realised is I get a free TV licence next year, now that is a worthwhile benefit.

  7. My MBE setup initially used the sender on the stat for the ECU, the sender on the hockey stick for the temp gauge and a swich screwed into polo rad for the fan. I was never happy having the hockey stick sender as it wouldn't help if the stat failed! So I then used the spare sender I had on the bottom of the stat for the gauge. I will now be using the DTA ECU for water temp from a single sender and may use a relay for the fan if I can be bothered to do so.

  10. EVENT POSTPONED Yes, @IanK wimping is definitely the order of the day. Trevor is making noises about going next Sunday instead, so all is not lost, just delayed. On the BBC news this morning there was the 'weather watchers' photograph and it was of Holmfirth (the village where the Oil Can Cafe is) and that had a similar level of snow of that shown in your photo at home. Luckily it is just raining in Chesterfield. Just look at the sunshine we had last Saturday up at the reservoirs, we need a bit more of that winter weather. Hope to see you all next weekend.
