John if your still in need I could bring the Silver Bullet ? Taking on board some of Davids comments I also have scales, trophies etc and could put a little display together, if you wanted that is ?

My 30th T went up to 3032m in Tignes and descended with a top speed of 87kph......

Well it's the one I just put back on mine today. Fits my alloy bellhousing and the std pinto bellhousing I used before that. Exhaust clears solenoid by a reasonable margin. Thought I'd take some pics for you while it was off

And a good thought at that. Perhaps a SS or SSOT Member would be prepared to do 20mins (10mins intro, 10mins Q and A), either on stand in Hall 2 or in the Marquee? Perhaps even a mid-morning and mid-afternoon session on both days? One in Hall 2 one in the Marque maybe? You'd have my full support and we'd promote the session with flyers/posters...

I know of a very well sorted car that is possibly coming up for sale soon. A member on here called Molestrangler passed away late last year and his wife will be selling it soon, in fact she comes home tomorrow from visiting her son. She has someone that she is offering the car to first, but then if they don't want it, it will go up for sale. I can keep you updated if you like?

Just so you all know, the space in Hall 2 has not been provided to the club free of charge by the organisers, as it had been prior to last year's show. The club is directly paying a four-figure sum for that space, and is doing so solely to promote and support the Speed Series. Therefore it is critical that we get Speed Series cars on stand and granite-solid commitment from the volunteer owners that they will bring their car for both days of the show. In the past, we have had volunteer owners cry off at the very last minute, leaving us with empty stand space, egg on our collective faces and a flea in our ears from the organisers, all of which was most embarrassing and irritating. This is an important one and will definitely affect future Stoneleighs and other promotional ventures if the stand is not filled with Speed Series cars, so your help is not only greatly appreciated, it is vital - thanks.
