Good luck on your run out this weekend. I did my local "small loop" route of about 40 miles at lunchtime. God's teeth it was flippin cold. I still enjoyed it, as I do most winter days when it's not wet, but I think today must have been my coldest Westfield drive to date.2 points

I would like to thank Tigger for helping me setup my domain and email server. His customer service and costs are second to none and he has answered all of my silly questions quickly and professionally. Anyone looking to setup their own domain and email addresses, I would strongly suggest you try his services http://hydrahosts.com/dac Thanks Tigger Paul2 points

Fingers crossed then, Ian, that you have better luck this time, can you direct them to the Kit Car Parking Area? we will be there waiting for you with Martyn and Sue. I hope that is not a MOT failure, Barry, and just that you have not taken it to the garage yet. It will be nice to catch up with you regardless of which car you are in, and always a laugh. My advice is not to watch the weather report at the moment, it's quite disturbing.2 points

The North West Kit Car Owners Group are organising a run out on Sunday 12th Feb. Their lunch stop is at the Oil Can Cafe at 1.30pm so we are going to meet them there and if anyone wants to join us (and them) please shout up. If you want to go with them from the start they are meeting at Sainsbury's, Ashton-under-Lyne at 10.15am and taking a route up to Hebden Bridge and back down before getting to the Oil Can Cafe. POSTPONED TO THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY1 point

I'll meet you all up at the Oilcan but not in the Westy as it's the first time in 8 years I've failed to get it MOT'd in January. Barry1 point

As much as I love the sound of some of the European V8's, the Americans do just get it so right so often! Theres something about the sound of some of the great US V8's that seems to simultaneously hit you in the gut and in the ear, making your very bones feel alive. The sound somehow bypasses all the millennia of evolution and connect directly to the prehistoric core of your brain.1 point

The car looks nice condition wise, seems a cracking though not absolutely top spec, and should make an excellent tourer that probably wouldn't disgrace itself by any means on the odd track day. Price wise, it's always a tricky one, as a dealer sale, it's always going to be at the higher end as the dealer has to make a profit, cover warranty etc. What I'd also add, from having spoken to Toy Box, and lots of Westfield owners that have bought cars from him, and from following stuff on his Facebook pages, is that I'm quite impressed with how much work they seem to put into the cars they're selling; it seems for many of them at least, to extend to way, way, more than even a very thorough detailing. With considerable effort being put into the mechanical side too. With both maintenance and considered, careful upgrades often carried out, as well. That said, that's the sticker price, as Craig said, there may we'll be a deal there, too...1 point

Current weather forecast is snow on the tops and 3 degrees all day. I somehow think Trevor Harmer (the head of the NWKCOG) is not a man to cancel, so wrap up warm and get ready for some great photo's. Seriously, if it snows - we no goes, so stay posted. Er, is anyone thinking of going?1 point
