Hi guys I've just rejoined the club as I've just bought my second westfield. i was a member a few years ago when I had my megabird, although I didnt really get involved on here to much. Think I spent most of my time fitting new engines in it and not doing westfield stuff. Ive just bought malgene's xtr2 so fingers crossed it'll be a good track car.3 points

Evening all, rejoined the WSCC this week after possibly the hardest 12 months of my life. Sold the old business, caught nasty Lung virus, cancer scare now industrial lung disease... Carlsberg don't do "rubbish years" but if they did.... I have picked up another old car having sold the mighty cross flow to Ibbo... Stu Hills Superb SEi (that is for sale) and a 1973 sporting trials car that once belonged to my Father. Also lining up a more "touring" focused cross flow for when my lungs totally give uo on me :-) Superb to see the forum looking so well and peoples passion for all things "7" to be going strong. Cheers James2 points

Well following on from another TV related post. I found out today that it's looking like Sky won't be showing discovery channels as of the 1st of Feb. Sky will not be reducing the subscription rates accordingly. Seems as though sky only interested in lining footballers pockets these days and not caring about the customers who watch the decent stuff. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/changes-to-sky-channels1 point

What to throw away you ask. Answer- What ever you throw away today, you'll need it somewhere down the line. What ever you keep, it'll never get used again and sit there in your garage wishing you dumped it.1 point

Pete, when you be became an AO you had 109 days of unused membership which was held during your term as an AO. Then when you retired as am AO you were credited with an additional years free membership as a thankyou. Therefore you membership will not be due until 474 days from May 30th 20161 point

If you don't know what Strava is then you will probably be advised to switch channels threads now. I know a few WSCC members are cyclists to varying degrees of experience, if you wish to join a group i've just formed please drop me a PM with your Strava name and I will invite you, oh yes, the group, it is the "green" off-shoot of this club, and because I have no imagination I called it WSCC. It is just a bit of fun. Ian1 point

Virgin are good at costing the earth and showing 15 billion channels of diddly squat when you have a chance to sit down. No wonder I built the car in 11 weeks ............. And on another note, why do I watch Car SOS , Wheeler Dealers and the adverts are about womens bladders control pads, ladies department dryness and ladies fungus things ? Wife reckons its to keep the wives interested as cars dont flick their wick !! When I said to virgin, that my TV and internet costs are more expensive than 3 cars insurance costs, they didnt answer.1 point

He is a polarising person but the bigger issue is the way that the media over there seem to be willing him to fail and are actively trying to do that by undermining the elector choice and ours going along with them. Take the wall, did the press kick up a fuss when Bush signed the 2006 Secure fence to build 700 more miles of fencing? Of course not it was seen as common sense. So good in fact Mexico copied it and built one between Guatemala and their southern boarder. He won because those in Washington were seen as out of touch. I saw a news program in Mexico from the states where a democrat senator was saying he had done over 500 different jobs working with the average Joe's. He said that don't ask a guy in a suit about garbage collecting, ask the guy who does it. He fully understood why Trump won as it felt that the elite had forgotten the people at the bottom. A steel worker in Pittsburgh is interested in his job, his family rather than if a cross dresser in New York is offended by someone being mean and there are more steel workers and the like than cross dressers. I have not seen yet any of his policies that are against people of all walks legally in the US, Hell he even has Blacks, Hispanics and women on is team as well as whites. HRC lost because she was not seen as the best candidate under their electoral system, all the whining about the popular vote is just rubbish. He needs to be left to get on with the job and be judged on what he does rather that what he says.1 point
