  2. Happy new year to everyone! My name is Luigi and I've just purchased a 1989 Westfield crossflow. It has not been used for 5 years but I have got it running. Im looking forward to modernising and improving to use as a weekend toy and hopefully use on track- but not sure if the cross flow is up to it.. I look forward to hopefully meeting some members at future events.

  3. The North West Kit Car Owners Group are coming to the Peak District on Sunday 8th January (going through Chatsworth and up Winnats Pass) and we are joining them, does anyone else want to come along? You can meet them at Capesthorne Hall, SK11 9JY at 11am or you can meet us at 11.30am near Buxton. I have only just got the route so if there is anyone who wants to meet us then shout up, I will sort out a good meeting place and publish it on here. It's only the first weekend of the year and there are 2 events on, oh my it's going to be a good year so put plenty of mileage allowance on when your insurance renewal arrives.

  7. Reet then.... We are aiming to arrive at the OIL CAN CAFE @ 10:45-11:00AM, while they are still serving their breakfast menu. From the West: meet at the Roe Cross Green (Roe Cross Road, Mottram in Longdendale, Hyde, UK, Cheshire SK14 6SD) car park by 10am Saturday. Then we will head out along the Woodhead on A628, turn left onto the A6024 'Woodhead Rd' through Holmbridge to Holmfirth and then on to the Oil Can Cafe (Dobroyd Mill, Butt Ln, Hepworth, Holmfirth HD9 1AF). https://goo.gl/maps/1z8JCf9exB32 If anyone from Lancashire way wants to meet up heading down to Roe Cross Green then I will be leaving Ramsbottom @ 9:15am. Please let me know and I will sort out a meet point! Anyone travelling from Cheshire side our Panda Pals ( @John Williams - WSCC Competition Secretary) will be leaving the Heald Green area @ 9:15am Looks like there's a few heading in from NE and from S as well See you all there!

  9. Received it in the post today, the clip itself was on back order but this was explained to me at point of order so no problems. Comes in two parts, the clip that attaches to the A-pillar (no tools required, leaves no marks) and the phone holder itself. The centre screw you can see tightens around a ball pivot so you can adjust the viewing angle, and the smaller screws on the left and right allow you to adjust the width of the phone holding wings and lock them into place. The phone holder attaches to the clip itself with four small screws. If you look to the right of the right hand phone wing, you'll see two small pilot holes in the clip - there's six pilot holes on the clip so you can position the phone holder left, centre or right of the clip. The clip slides up and down the A-pillar easily so you can position it where you like within limits. PROS: > Easy and quick to assemble and install > Solid and well engineered, no sticky pads or flimsy plastic, should hold up well > Works well, phone held firmly in place and at correct angle for driver > Adjustable to suit preferences > Location on A-pillar doesn't block air vents or dash controls, less visual clutter on dash, but doesn't obscure view while driving (although too far from 12v socket for most power cords) > If you change cars, you can just get a new clip and reuse the phone holder, and vice versa if you change phone brands / types, get a new phone holder and reuse the clip CONS: > Expensive but as I said, well engineered and solid - this is not a cheap phone holder So thanks for the recommendation, overall very satisfied and it will save me a lot of faffing about on the road.

  11. Yeh, the stone level footage gave a great perspective. But I preferred the higher level 'Drone' filming

  14. I have one you can have for cost of postage. BUT it has been modified where I needed to relocate the gear stick bellows to suit my type 9. So a patch of the carpet was cut and relocated. Will try and find pic of it as it was before I swapped to carbon - tbh although it was difficult to spot the join once installed, it was not a professional job by any means! If you want a pristine one, it's no good.
