  1. Have you put your new calendar on display today? Isn't it brill? Mine is in the kitchen next to my new glass chopping board of my Westfield. Firstly Wendy has managed to photograph Westfield's finest on the front cover (Stu's car). Turn over to January and ABC is in action on the big page, followed by Andrew Lowe's car in Snowdownia, that car is up for sale btw. Our next generation of Westfield owners, Andrew Wilson has captured a lovely shot of the pre-lit and of Robin Red Spider's car heading the parade lap at Silverstone, finished off by the 4th Andrew and a great track action shot. Wow, it's only January. I couldn't have chosen better, well done WSCC.

  5. As you're MOD give this some thought. We have a lot of Reservists in the office. It's a good deal from the sounds of it. Most work Tuesday to Thursday (they are not obliged to turn up either). Work 0900-1600, go to the gym for an hour over lunch + take time to have their lunch, have no division or duties to worry about, can do adventureous training and get paid for it all too. I believe they still get all the medical and dental cover. Age is capped by specialisation but we have guys in their 60's. They also get a annual bonus, some branches get a golden hand shake too. Stress???... not that I know of! I worked out that if I could retire now, based on my current salary (however, 6years left in) and if I did tue/thur in working weeks of the year only, so 7weeks of leave. My pension plus my reservist salary (a daily rate of which is 1/365th of your current salary on exit) would only be £4K less a year than what I am currently earning with all the added benefits mentioned above! Randy.

  8. I use mainly combination of Manfroto Clamp and 492 Ball Socket with GpPro tripod adapter which I find versatile and quick to mount or remove. Can be mounted on Windscreen pillar... In detail... I do use the standard Roll Bar mount sometimes, but it's definitely not as secure/rigid. And I find that the bolt head twist in the 'open' side of the mount. I also use different 'bolts' than original, as can be seen (blue) in pictures, which are much easier to tighten.
