  3. For those in the know, there's a dead give away in the rover photos. If you look closely at the dust, you can see where Russ was doing donuts in it.

  4. But did you know that Westfield built the lunar rover car, but it was actually filmed in a quarry near Dudley at night. If you look closely you can see the wheels are off a Thwaites dumper and the antenna is really a stainless stell colander from Woolworths. That's why Woolworths closed down in truth, Doris from hardware was going to spill the beans but she had an accident with her Stannah stair lift when two strange men had just serviced it and so many others she told feared for their lives, so they did a crap job forcing the company to go bankrupt. It is true, I read it on the internet

  10. Yeah, if you don't get the floor treatments out of the way at the beginning, it can become an unfaceable task when the garage starts bursting at the seams. It's the one thing I really regret not getting round to, but the garage is just so full these days, it's never going to happen.

  11. I've got my garage kitted out fairly well for my tools etc, considering half our house content is also stored in there. What I have been promising myself for 5 years is floor paint. A nice grey colour. Still haven't got round to it but your thread may spur me on.

  12. Sort the driving position out then enjoy it Seems that this is one of those 'much better than it looks on the spec sheet' kinda cars... See you at some track days no doubt. Also plan to do a bit in Class A Speed Series next year.

  16. Soon to be available as Schroth FIA replacements arrived and passenger side yet to be fitted (shouldn't be long!) Black Willans four point harnesses (Driver & Passenger), sailed through MOT two Months ago and in Summer scrutineered at MSA Sprint. Manufactured 2001. Drivers side showing very slight wear on shoulder adjustment buckle area. Photos to follow, or PM me email and I'll try and sort asap. Make me an offer (plus postage)

  17. Makes sense - and a good idea IMO even if it's not a regulation... Can be done quite easily, I'll try and grab a pic for you.
