Congratulations to Ben and his new future passenger, we will look out for the new thread 'how to fit a baby seat in a Westfield'
I hope Pete is recovering well and able to join us again soon.
The Westfield's have certainly and consistently overtaken the breakfast meet at Curborough this year. It is a brilliant place to meet up though, with it's central location and petrol theme. I will be watching for next years dates and will continue with the runs into the Peak District as it seems to be popular. I have really, really enjoyed today.
We met at Curborough where a wide variety of cars were wizzing around the track as part of the Hillclimb and Sprint Association event, which included a rather fast orange duratec engined Westfield. The turn out was brilliant, extra to the cars that came for a run out there was Kevin with his 'neighbour', ok so we have met your mistress then, Paul bought his yellow VX220 that thinks it is a Westfield and little Jeff came along for his kiss, well 2 kisses actually, one on the way in and one on the way out, cheeky.
Curborough
The Westfield's were in a row behind me as far as my eye could see and amazingly we all kept together. It made for a very difficult photo, you can just about make everyone out, squint...a bit more...no, you can't really see them, but believe me they are all there.
We circuited around the Peak District, up the Crowdecote road and back down to Newton House for about 1 pm, just in time for lunch. The views were lovely in the sunshine, the air was cool and the roads were dry, perfect.
All that driving must have tired Trevor out
The venue was excellent and the staff came out to photograph our cars for their website.
Has Stu got his eyes shut too, we must get stronger coffee
All too soon it was time to depart, straight onto the nice big, fast A515 and with no neighbours it is a venue that you can make a suitable exit, 25 second video.

So I think everyone is up to date with the various changes to the cars and it has been great to all get together. If you want more there is the Helicopter Action in Buxton tomorrow, next weekend is the Klondyke Steam Party in Staffordshire and the return of The Matlock Mystery Tour the weekend after that. Did I mention the Santa Run on 4th December?
Thank you everyone for coming and see you all soon.
