  2. I love Lego. Boys and toys, who'd have thought. But look what I've got. Even opening the box has me giggling. With a 1" thick build manual it will keep me busy. (for those of you who don't build lego, go on treat yourself. You get an accurate build manual and ALL the parts....... Whats that all about?)

  3. The West leg of the Coast to Coast run will take place on Saturday 3rd September. Starting at the Fox and Grapes at 10:30 we will head into Harrogate then towards Skipton and on to the Lakes and then either to Morecambe or Grange over Sands, find a pub and head home. Anyone interested? Let me know, and I'll plan a proper route.

  14. Agreed, and Ash is one of the most experianced builders out there, so it should be a good solid platform to start from. Assuming habit has kept things like loom and pipe fixings IVA comparable and there's no daft track/race car issues like pipes inside the cabin to deal with. Gorgeous looking car though if you don't mind the extra work.

  15. My sprint Westfield will do 0-60 in 2.6 secs and 100 in under 6 I'd say that fairly typical of the top Speed Series cars.

  18. Kennedy Space Centre is a MUST DO! Seeing an actual Apollo Saturn V in the flesh (so to speak) is spine-tingling stuff - one off my Bucket List for sure and one of the few things that the over used word "awesome" is suitable for! I walked in and my jaw dropped - then a huge grin appeared, interspersed with more gaping and further child like grins as I walked around with my neck craned backwards in sheer awe. Advice - take plenty of money, it's fuppin expensive (and that was when the pound was strong)
