  1. So I managed to get the filler spread on, sanded off and the final shape of the piece cut to shape/size. I also go the holes cut for the gear and handbrake and it fitted for size into the car to make sure it fits. I am now waiting for the gaiters and skinning stuff to arrive before I continue. However I am really pleased with the results so far and the finish is really good - so should give a great finish I hope. Just 1 photo I am afraid. I was covered in dust so left my phone in the house.

  2. Hello all, Since I have my westfield, the forum was a very useful place for finding everything I need about my Westy. Now, after rebuild it, it's time to introduce my car !! Westfield SE with a Ford Kent XFlow twin Weber 40 DCOE. In france, It's really rare to find one like this Enjoy the pics, and I hope you will like it....

  5. Couldn't take the Westy, even my little pre-lit would have taken me over the baggage allowance. The shirt, however, did make it to.......... Washington DC "How you doin" Runaway Bay Jamaica "No problem mon" and it thoroughly enjoyed the trip! [Edit to add] that's a seriously dodgy pose!

  6. Looks nice - I like the colour and the location !! Are you in a good area for roads - when we used to go to Brittany and the Central Massif regions the roads were nice and twisty and more importantly - empty My brother is rebuilding his MGB (he has a place near Moncontour) and is trying to find out whether it's worth getting it registered in France or bring it back to the UK - I think he's been in touch with the Morris Minor owners club as apparently there are quite a few out there. Anyway - enjoy the car (I like the Xfow engines - good, solid and easy to work on and lots of spares and tuning parts still available)

  16. Fantastic Applecross this year (again) The weather on Saturday was fantastic as was the run. I think the ferry turned it into more of an adventure, it was worth the waiting to get us all across and the crew were really good. I even got home before the rain started properly. Thanks to Bob & Rab for organising, Alan for driving the van, Kev and Kyle for cooking off the BBQ food and especially to Wee Dov and Kay for preparing the BBQ even though you couldn't come. To everyone else, thanks for being there to you all added to the enjoyment of the weekend (having extra carers for the Pensioner was also some respite for me )
