  2. Luckily not a problem for me as my MIL is dead. Had her buried faced down in case she tried to dig her way out.

  4. On the other hand, if the conditions are similar I'd rather have 4 timed runs on Sunday to build on Saturday and have a better chance of getting scoring runs in. Just my opinion.

  5. So after what seems like forever I finally got my toy back on the road yesterday afternoon. Took it to work today 26miles each way loved it just as much as the first time I drove it. But I think the garage gremlins (the one's that hide your tools) have been playing with the carbs, just about driveable between 2 to 3000 rpm so lots of gear changing to keep the revs out of that range so anyone know anyone in Cornwall that are good with webers and maybe a rolling road?

  6. Here is a video of our day. I have tried to show what the roads and areas are like that we travelled through. I will post some pictures and a write up sometime tomorrow. I hope you like the film.

  9. Sure, here's mine, although I didn't water-test it. THe umbrella idea will help keep the shape I guess. Plus I didn't have it pulled down over the wheel arches as that seemed to pull the cover one way or the other rather than sitting squarely.

  11. Just a very quick update. I got word from Westfield that my ITB's and shocks have both shipped and the tracking shows that I should have them both this coming Thursday July 7th. I thank Westfield for making it happen and look forward to getting everything up and running. dave

  14. I arrived for the afternoon session just as it started to rain! Anyway it soon dried and I had a great time on this track for my first time. I also didn't get chance to talk to any other Westie owners as I was either on track or hiding from the rain showers. Thank you to SteveH for arranging a discount.

  15. Great day out on Friday and good to see so many sevens and other lightweights out on track. Good mix of conditions during the afternoon made things interesting, especially on slicks . I meant to track down the other Westie drivers to say hello but the day escaped from me, as usual . Anyhoo, hope you had a good day fellas.

  18. I bet there's a post on another forum of another description somewhere saying Got to live with the future son-in-law for 3 - 4 weeks as i'm in the process of moving house. I really can't wait, its going to be a fantastic time. Even better, because he works from home, he'll be around all the time! Really great stuff! Any advice on how to make the most of this precious time with the one who's shacked up with my darling daughter but wastes all his time and money on a silly yellow car? :D
