  1. It's not looking entirely dry at the moment Mike.. but plenty of time for the forecast to change. We've been very lucky with the weather in the past, so fingers crossed, for some more dryness. I think the locals say, if you can see the hill its about to rain, and if you cant see it, its raining.

  2. Mike has pointed out that RichieF is going to the Herts Auto Show and it would make a nice run out and car show. The post is here: http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/119417-herts-auto-show-22nd-may/ It's in Welwyn Garden City and we can have a scenic blat to get there. I suggest we meet up around 8am at the McDonalds at Boreham on the A12. Are any of the other Essex or North London folks intereted in joining in? Might even break out the WSCC Essex Area Flutter Flag!!

  5. Just to let you know, if you admired the lego Westfield that Marcus built, or Robin's model, you might like to go to Butterley Brick Week in Derbyshire. It is on during the Spring Bank Week and is a family event with models, displays and workshops. Steam trains will be running and there is an impressive display in the museum area too. Might pop along myself if the weather behaves.

  13. For Speed Series competitors like Pete, the car will see a lot more engineering and service work to keep it at the level he competes in, than more road orientated cars.

  14. A quick low bake then left over night to dry and back home for the rebuild .. Once dry any bis of dirt can be wet flatted out with 2,000 wet and dry then buffed back up with G3.. Luckily for me this is fairly clean so I will get away with the job " off the gun " and a bit of free advertising
