  5. I have spoken to Natasha from "Motor Sports Events" and secured free tuition to people who book in under the Cotswold WSCC name. I have also spoken to Gary Lucas from the Oxford Area and they were also planning on attending this event, so we said we would have 1 thread running for this event. http://orders.motorsport-events.com/EventDetails.aspx?EventID=0ac375b0-abe5-49cd-9888-51014148aa71 £129.00 per driver We lost a very long standing member of the Cotswold Club Mr Chris Varey, he was our main track day organizers and always persuading people to come along and have a go. He was the main person that got me on the track and taught me a lot over the years for which I'm very grateful........ I phoned up and did my booking as it is easier, see below for the reason why. We are hoping to have lots of Westfields at this event, as I am working alongside our neighbouring Cotswold Area. If you speak to Natasha and tell her you are a Westfield Sports Car Club member and mention my name she will add you onto a list and you will receive a free lesson with one of their instructors as a club member perk. If you have or are planning on booking this event, let us know and we can start a name list going Attendees Thomas Frankland - BOOKED Mike Hardwick (Mooch) - BOOKED Barry Ashcroft tightscot Gary (KugaWestie) - North Oxfordshire AO - BOOKED reeves_luke89 Dommo - BOOKED CL290005 1959grantura James Alexander Chris Lomax Ken Philps Gordon Downie Oliver Sighe (Maybe Tony) Antony Thompson - BOOKED Martin Clark Kirt Beaton

  15. Thanks all for your support. We raised £181.35 which I will be transferring to Children's Air Ambulance this week. Despite the busy Sunday and perhaps because of the slow Monday we are significantly down on previous years I think we need to be more up front in asking for money, checking members are members, limiting items (apart from volunteers in blue shirts). Some feedback from this year tends to suggested we were a little lax in supporting the helpers in gaining an understanding of how things work which may be be why we were deficient on grabbing the cash from you and the general public, one to improve on for next year... However, £181.35 might just save a life so we should be thankful for that and proud of our contribution (I didn't openly see any other clubs collecting... )

  16. I think Scott has pretty much nailed it in his post here, but I wanted to add my personal thanks. Thank you! Thank you for all your support Thank you for visiting in droves Thank you for coming along and helping Thank you for a fast and efficient set-up and take-down Thank you to my fellow Committee Members for their support Thank you for hanging around to help when I know you were itching to get going Thank you to those who came and spoke to us about taking on the organisation for year Thank you to Ian and the 1st Lyonsdown Scout Group for the loan of the trailer and electrics Thank you for sticking with it even when the weather seemed to want to dampen (literally) our spirits Thank you Ian and Marcus for sorting out the marquee and Hall 2 and despite our best efforts for ending up front of the BBQ again I'm not ashamed nor do I feel biased or embarrassed in any way to say that this year has been the best I've ever known to date...

  18. Marcus - really pleased with the badge I bought from you. However - I decided in the end to respray my existing badge (and grill) today, as its welded to the grill. Do you mind if I offer it for sale again? I'm off to Stoneleigh tomorrow. Cheers, Rob
