  2. I built my SEWI in 2003/4 .attend my Dorset area club meetings monthly,which are held in Martinstown just outside Dorchester,and what's wrong in being 74.enjoy life,as they say you only live once.colin oh I live in Dawlish Devon!

  4. Hi All The Northamptonshire area monthly meets are held on the second Monday of every month at The Aviator Hotel Sywell NN6 0BN from 7.30 pm the next being Monday 8th February. If you haven't been before come along for a beer and a chat about building cars, horsepower, engines etc (much better than TV on a Monday evening) Hope to see you there.   9. As above,take your time when you first start using it! Lightweight rear wheel drive cars catch a lot of people out unfortunately,especially this time of year with changeable road conditions.

  10. Welcome Josh I started off in a similar fashion buying a starter kit without having driven anything other than a Caterham. I do not regret it one little bit! As for "is the price ok" well that depends entirely on condition and specification because our cars are often wildly different even with the same "headline" spec. Things that add value for one buyer might put off another too (like an aeroscreen or cage) and it also depends on what you want to get out of it like touring or track days. We all like pictures so post some as soon as you can.
