  3. NEW UP DATE....we got our deposit back on the car yesterday and as Scott predicted the new buyer has was unable to get a trailer to get the car from Durham to Birmingham so has had to let it go and the seller has come back to my lad today and said we can he can have it for the original agreed price... But once bitten twice shy

  5. I just caught your post over on scoobynet - love it! We'll have to organise a Swindon meet soon so I can admire it in the flesh!

  6. Ah, that'll teach me to wander away mid post! Just seen Adam's picture - it's the cheap versions of the stand shown that I had the problems with. My other stand is a Clarke from Machine Mart and has been great.

  9. Glad it is all sorted and very generous of you to gift £50 to a dealer when rectifying faults present when selling the car, but they did do the rerouting work.

  10. A very enjoyable car set-up session that progressively became more competitive! The damp track was treacherous in the morning but as soon as it dried the fun began. Marto was really flying. The event was very well organised and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Interestingly a number of people were saying that the number and complexity of the MSA rules and regulations had led them to choose the Javelin events so maybe this is seen as the new entry to sprinting? It actually reminded me of the non-MSA sprints run by the Lotus Drivers Club at Wellesbourne that I started off with. Finally of possible interest, Javelin announced that Croft will replace their Oulton Round that has been cancelled due to noise issues. Keith
