  1. Yes, he means the main thermostat. I agree, I misread that ASH hoses discount code everytime I see it You'll find lots of willing assistance if you do want to tackle jobs "yourself"*, but don't feel that you have to! There are plenty of small specialists dotted all around the country these days, for those jobs that you don't want to undertake. More importantly, there's no stigma attached to using them either. Times have changed now, many of us have far less time for doing jobs on the cars than we used to, and when you just want to go for a drive, there's nothing worse than having a list of car chores that must be completed first. *Note, this assistance can range from you carrying out the job with someone casting an experienced eye over your shoulder and offering hints and tips, to at the other end of the scale, you seeing your car hidden under a group of local members, while you permanently bring in cups of tea and bacon butties! It's whatever works for you...

  3. Where do they come from This is a personal (and light hearted) view so don't set fire to my dog if you own an Audi due to all WSCC Audi drivers being forgiven. Every day I do 100 or so miles on the M1 and every day there is an Audi stuck up my chuff. Or undertaking, Or flashing, Or cutting in, The list goes on, there are two disabled bays at work and there is an Audi in both, and there not disabled. At work now if you do something wrong the harshest insult we use is- You total Audi driver. There are other cars driven rudely but nowhere near that of the Audi driver. Aahhh I feel better now, rant over.

  11. I travel a lot and I'm doing 500 miles a week now in a 3-series and you know who the worst drivers I see are? Categorically Insignia and Astra GTC drivers. After the Peugeot drivers that have all but given up on life that is. I actually don't even acknowledge 2nd lane hoggers any more and if you drive like you should (ie keep left and to the speed limit) you'll find, like I do, that you undertake more people than you overtake
