  1. Why didn't Westfield get the RAC hoop approved from the outset? I think it's ridiculous that you already have 38mm tubing joining a thinwall 25mm chassis tubing and there are questions being asked about cage strength. Surely we should be worrying about chassis strength?

  3. Yes but the goggle I had were crazy. They cut out all light at a wavelength so made stuff very odd. Sharks were last year ... I tried fitting one to fatty the cat but her indifference meant she mostly burnt holes in the sofa

  4. I must be a bit behind the curve and stumbled onto rallying on channel 5. I haven't seen rallying in prime time since the 80s. I've been off the scene for a few years so I'm catching up a bit. Nice to see " my " sport on the telly.

  6. You have to remember that when a cage is added to a chassis it does strengthen it and in an analysis of any structure you would need to look at the overall performance of the chassis an cage acting as one system. We cant do anything about the chassis so adding a cage of any sort is an improvement IMHO

  10. Grp B was awesome just the crowd control was severely lacking. And the rallies were real test of man and machine .......Lombard RAC was an epic event 59 stages and covered the majority of the UK unlike the current event permanently camped in Wales. Nothing against Wales but come on what about the rest of the country, Kielder Forest, Castle O'er, Craik, Twiggles to name but a few.......Oh the good old days Roger Clark, Hannu Mikkola, Russell Brooks, Jimmy McRae, Ari Vatenan magic
