  1. You kept that quiet. Would have come but waiting for new clutch plate. Still might turn up for passenger rides depending on weather. Get yer priorities right Kev.

  2. He's a man after my own heart! Actually I have a soft spot for the CV8 too, whilst my omnibus travelling companion likes the older 541R. I almost bought an Interceptor in the early eighties but the gurgling sound from the fuel tank when the owner opened the throttles on 6.3 litres worried me slightly.

  5. No forced induction, Stuart, you and I will remain pure! Off to Scuzzle Motorsport on Monday by hook or by crook - driving if it's nice, open trailer if not and covered trailer if it's really pants out there! I have a mate in the village who builds race cars (check out Loaded Gunn) has kindly let me borrow either of his trailers. Head being breathed on, reprofiled cams and mappable ECU. Won't be in the same league as you fire breathers, but should give me a bit more grunt! around 145-150bhp is the aim.

  6. Well, it was in one sense disappointing as it was 'only' a new Zetec - but on the other hand, I couldn't afford to do what was necessary to install a Cossie anyway!

  7. That's very kind Geoffrey but he's not a fan of the Westfield as its too small. I did get him in the first Westfield we had (under duress) but he hasn't been in the current one. Same with the wife. All the more reason to keep it!

  8. booked the Monday off work, so wondering if anyone else is planning going. Nice run last year in convoy, so would be good to do that again. Haven't booked accommodation yet. Bob
