  3. http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B000KKNQBK/ref=acr_search_see_all?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 Not a joke in the usual sense. A link to a customer review page on Amazon (really!), laughed till I cried.

  4. Well there is no denying those figures, but as they said it is a world away from having it drive in a car. The heat from those 4 turbos in any enclosed space will be huge and is why the Veyron has multiple radiators and was one of the biggest issues they had to overcome. I love the engineering as taking a huge block of alloy and cnc machining it into that engine is a work of art to my eyes. I also love there are people with enough expertise enough money and are bonkers enough to make it all work. I will not hold my breath for the car but what they have already is interesting

  7. I guess if I re-profiled the bonnet, cut the scuttle away, removed the seats and sat sideways in the boot box, I could get it in mine!

  11. I have had 4 discos in a row. Nothing like them. Best car to drive and are brilliant when they are running. All four have had mechanical issues and reliability is a problem so take out the best cover you can afford from the AA. Landrover Assistance is brilliant. Tried all other makes / models but nothing quite like it. Have to put up with reliability issues to have the best car. As Clarkson put it - the most unreliable 4x4 is also the best 4x4! As far as towing is concerned - I had a braked trailer capable of taking two tons. Had to remember I had it on the back as the car didn't seem to notice. Carrying a Westy will be no trouble at all.

  12. I know you've got this fixed now, but just FYI: 8888 used to be the default pin for automotive products, before the world standardised on 0000. Cheers, Mark

  14. Got mine, have to agree with MemSec, best issue I can remember* and a cracking calendar too, some fabulous photos this year (next year?). My heartiest congrats and thanks to not only Editor Peter but especially all who contributed content - like the club, the mag and calendar are exactly what you, the members, put into it. It's YOUR club, YOUR mag, and YOUR calendar - well done all. *apart from the drivel in Chairman's Chat, of course
