  3. Another update: Software is just about finished, testing OK so far at a supply voltage range of 6-17V. One dip switch selects between Lucas-style ON/OFF/ON switch or momentary ON push buttons, so it's button upgrade-proof... The other dip switch chooses between 2 alternate cancelling times. So far, I've used a traditional hazard relay - will test next with a solid state LED compatible type, but shouldn't be a problem...

  12. Somewhat ironic that your radius on random parts must be correct, but you can drive around with no roll-over protection at all....

  14. I run with HANS. My chassis did not have suitable mounting points yet it took all of 1 hr to weld in the bosses to make it compatible. Having had a heavy crash last year it saved my neck - I cant see any sensible justification or argument against.

  16. Whatever difficult decisions the SSOT have to take, no matter how happy or unhappy each of you will be about them, I trust you will all respect the hard-working and often under-appreciated people in the SSOT who give up their free time and put themselves through the ringer for no more reward than giving back to the sport about which they are as passionate as you. Reading these threads convinces me that I'd never want to be in their racing boots right now, but I know they'll do the right things.
