  1. Just had confirmation I broke the NSSCC Bike engine road going lap record on Sunday at Croft. Videos to follow To say I'm pleased is an understatement. This time last year I wasn't sure if I would be able to race again

  2. If the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree, how is that a hidden/secret emissions test mode? That looked almost like the two wheel dyno put it into a limp home mode! (I had similar with a petrol 535 once, except as well as the lights, it's dash display actually gave you the limp home message).

  3. Meet at The Wheatsheaf, Baslow, DE45 1SR at 10.30 am. From there we will divert up Sir William Hill and on to the famous plague village of Eyam. We will park up (free) and take a grisly trip through the village to the cafe for lunch. Then it will be a drive across the Peak District to The Roaches Tea Rooms, Near Leek, ST13 8TY for further refreshment. Who can come with us?

  4. I'm in Paisley Chris, so not far from you. Although the Westfield is very appealing and an absolute thrill, I currently have plumped fir a little more comfort wth a Quantum 2+2. Just like the two above, it is Zetec powered but with the addition of being turbo charged. 270BHP (330 per tonne) so entertaining. I'll also be at Kames and hopefully Knockhill too. Happy to give you a pax. If you are set on a 7 style a Q won't be for you but you might want to keep your options open. Bob

  5. Found a nice two part guide with pics. Looks pretty straight forward, and a better option.

  10. I also have an SE with Type 16 calipers up front and RS2000 rear drums at the back, presumably the same setup as yourself. Mintex 1144 pads are brilliant up front. No fade on track and due to the cars weight, last well too. They also work well from stone cold which is good for road driving. The only other improvement i have gained from this setup is by stripping and rebuilding the front calipers and basically making sure the whole system is working as efficiently as possible.
