I'm not sure how many aircraft actually left Goodwood but we counted at least 27 past us at Selsey. Mostly Spits but a few Hurricanes and the lone Blenheim! The first group of 7 spitfires and 1 hurricane was glorious!!!!2 points

I will bring the noise tester so we can check out the Lanc for trackday use :-)2 points

Here's a video of me existing underground car park of the hotel in Strasbourg, fun for all of us especially Wayne!, Paul had it easy (no lowered floor), Terry decided to do the Dukes of Hazard entry but was more careful on the exit! only way out was same way as in so we had to reverse up the ramp and over 'bespoke' ramps so floors/cans/chassishoops cleared the apex. I slipped off the boards half way up on first attempt2 points

Head off my Zetec Silvertop, 24k miles in very good condition. No cams in it. Ideal to send off for porting so you don't have to have engine in pieces while done, which is why mines spare. It's a 1.8, but told also good for 2.0 to increase compression. £90 plus cost of exchange, or may be able to drop off or at a North West tuner for porting, such as BLiNK Motorsport who did my current head. Have a couple of photos if you pm me email.1 point

Got up today at 5.00am and travelled to York for a ride in a balloon. Nearly didn't get to fly as the fog came in within minutes and we waited nearly two hours for it to clear. It was really relaxing and worth doing if you get the chance. No need to wear a hat as you get warm from the big fire above. The landing was really smooth and yes, it is my hand in the picture pulling the canopy down. Hope you like the pictures.1 point

It is a fantastic expierence really peaceful and silent as you drift along with the breeze , did the very same thing a few years ago in Australia would do it again in a heart beat.1 point

Well I think we flew over your house Scott. I just want to say that it appears you have done very well for yourself indeed.1 point

Did it a few years ago and it is great, thoroughly recommend it. One of the most amazing things is that you can hear people talking below as you go over, even from several thousand feet up, because there's nothing between them and you in the balloon to stop or absorb the noise. I had a conversation with a young lad as he chased us across a field with his dog. We landed on an industrial estate and a jobsworth security guard tried to get us to take off again, telling us we couldn't land there!1 point

I was once taken round Bruntingthorpe for a few hot laps in a Sports 2000 race car by Mike O'Brian (a former s2000 champion back in the 80s) He commented afterwards that I was the only one he could hear over the engine screaming at him to go faster1 point

We did this courtesy of my son's present to us for Christmas a few years ago. The views over Oxford were wonderful and, as you said, it's extremely tranquil because not only must the weather be calm, but because you literally 'go with the wind' your immediate surroundings are completely still with respect to the air. Well worth doing IMO1 point

Hi Robin. They have a camera that swings out on ropes and works with a remote. He lets the camera swing and when it has stopped swinging and stays still then the pilot takes the picture.1 point

Well today we went out for a breakfast run. We went into Scarborough and the place was deserted and it was fantastic. There was only the sound of Buttercup and Robs Westfield and the chip stealing, squarking gulls. We had a drive onto the harbour and watched the fishing boats and also the inshore lifeboat that looked like it was having an early morning practice. It was a brilliant morning for the RNLI lads as the sea was flat calm and it was also such a beautiful blue. We stopped at my favourite beach café "Oasis" and it is a mecca for bikers so if you like bikes, then that's where to head for. We had our milky coffees and hot sandwiches before heading up the coast. We went on a few back roads rather than the main road and it was as though were the only people up and about. [ unless we scared everyone away with the thunderous roar of our machines. ] We headed for Boggle Hole and I would strongly advise that if you do not like reversing then you don't go down the hill. it is like a 1 in 4 hill and once you are down at the bottom then the only back is to reverse up as you cannot turn your car round. Then it was up to Whitby for a pose and onto Sandsend for a toilet break and a coffee on the beach. As we went through Whitby, there was a man who I would certainly call "drunk" and when he saw us coming down the road he stood up on the pavement and gave us all the biggest smiles and thumbs up.....bless him, he looked so happy to see us. When we arrived in Sandsend I pulled up next to a waste bin and Bloomin Rob said that is where poor Buttercup belonged.....In the bin. I just do not know where Rob has acquired all this petty jealousy from..............I think it may have something to do with the lady who stopped to chat with us and she suddenly blurted out " oh look at that. I would have the yellow one rather than the orange one." :d . Once we had our skinny lattes it was over to Grosmont where we saw the steam train " Sir Nigel Gresley" pulling into the station. From here it was over to Glaisdale for a wee in the bushes and to admire the river from Beggars Bridge. Next it was over the moors to Castleton before we headed in a homeward direction. At the top of Rosedale Chimney we pulled into the pub on top of the hill and it was heaving with people. We went inside and then found out why....the food looked fantastic and there must have been 150 people all eating their dinners. It is somewhere I will definitely go and the menu looked to be price around £12.00 as an average price. We were going to stop for more coffee's but as the place was so busy we decided against it. As we came into the carpark, two white, Carver motorcycles came bay and they looked brilliant in their white colour. These are the bikes that were on top gear and they really tilt and lean right over. And that was the end of our day. Out for breakfast and home for dinner. here are a few pictures of the morning. I hope you like them.1 point

I liked the other scheme too, but the more I see this one the more I like it, the red seats really set it off. I'd only just realised you've got flared tub sides when I looked through the rest of the album - they work really well with the new scheme. A really nice look, and great to see something different!1 point
