  1. Ian, you need to come along on one of Julie's runs. Plenty of good roads through the peaks that are less congested and with the fantastic backdrops.

  2. OK so I might not be winning class A, or my points might look a little low compared to last year (81.0075* vs 82.47) ... but I'm doing a happy dance! I broke my personal best 8 times this weekend and 11 pb for the year! So moral of the story keep records.... as the graph doesn't reflect how i feel *excludes engine blow up at 3 sisters Thank you to everyone i had a wonderful weekend

  3. track day write ups are easy.....Bernie will be the first to have something fall off or break. He'll then spend the next half hour bodging it back together with sticks, twine and gaffa tape. He'll then go back out on track and only return once the fuel light comes on. By about 3pm all fuel reserves in suffolk will have been exhaust and Bernie will be seen buying as much fuel off everyone else in the paddock as he can get his hands on. Dave on the other hand will have faultless reliability as he'll be unable to take his eyes off the oil pressure gauge for the whole day. Unwilling to reduce his pace and distracted by the aforementioned gauge he will spin both often and frequently, most of which will be caught on camera by Bernie. Dave will finish the day with the biggest grin but with dreams of a future supercharger/turbo upgrade.

  6. I agree with the above, I too had a quick scan but will save for a rainy day. Buttercup's feature looks fantastic. I haven't been this exited since trying to work out who shot JR in Dallas

  7. Head off my Zetec Silvertop, 24k miles in very good condition. No cams in it. Ideal to send off for porting so you don't have to have engine in pieces while done, which is why mines spare. It's a 1.8, but told also good for 2.0 to increase compression. £90 plus cost of exchange, or may be able to drop off or at a North West tuner for porting, such as BLiNK Motorsport who did my current head. Have a couple of photos if you pm me email.

  9. Others will help with parts, but the important thing is you're unhurt, and the car can be fixed. A little lesson for you about just what a potent weapon you now own and must respect. Nothing but sympathy from me, you're hardly the first and won't be the last. I know your pride is hurt, but do not rush the fix to save your blushes, do it right. All will be well soon.

  10. Picked up my Westfield today. SEiW 2.0 Zetec black top 170. Drove it back from Bawtry, Nottinghamshire, the sun shone, my co pilot loved it and I'm a happy bunny. Bit blustery on the A1 and the A19, and to be honest straight lines are just not what these are for, none the less lots of smiles and looks from the other cars around us. I'm looking forward to putting my own stamp on it but for now fingers crossed for some more nice dry days. Just a couple of quick pics.

  12. Mine are boxed and covered in the garage... Along with half hood, cover. Its like an accessory wardrobe - what does the car need to wear today.

  14. Yep a really fabulous debut piece from Buttercup too! Great continuing piece of the diffuser build and some inspiring stuff from the other AO's, and that's just what I saw on a quick scan through over coffee this morning, can't wait to have a proper read through later!

  16. And so to lunch, for about 40 to 50 hungry drivers and passengers, fortunately there was excellent food and service at the Manifold Inn, thanks to all the staff there. A few pictures of the after lunch chatting and tyre kicking whilst getting ready to leave. Some had already departed though!
