My Wet / Damp track first run at Loton on Saturday. I wont lie to you I was a bit fired up because Mike broke my car if Im honest. Bit silly really to push so hard when everyone else was doing 70s runs. - 58.x seconds.2 points

Thanks Guys I really appreciate all your comments ( praise is always very welcome ) But in reality I wouldn't be going as well as this without all the help and encouragement from you lot. One of the things I love about this speed series is the camaraderie in the paddock, without exception every expert driver I've met has freely given advice and tips on improving a run or car set up. With a little help this weekend on damper settings and tips for a fast run at Loton I've been able to find a couple of seconds that would otherwise have taken years to workout for myself, so you should really be giving yourselves a "pat on the back"2 points

The perfect power figure for a westfield is, of course, whatever the cross flow engine can muster :-)2 points

Well here's my second timed run. 58.84. Very scrappy going on the grass in 3 places which lost me time especially at loggerheads and fallow and was a bit exciting at Triangle. I think I need to change my steering wheel and rack before Ty Croes and sort out the understeer. First time I have video recorded my self which is useful as I can see lots of novice mistakes especially turning in a bit earlier on most of the corners. Any feedback appreciated. It does seem a bit of a handful at times;-) . Slower than T1 which was 58.47 but Go Pro didn't work for that run. Anyway improved my PB by a second so happy with that but much more possible I think. Thanks to Matt, Keith and Stu for working to help with my set up this afternoon. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KK-1uNPWi2o?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> see here for the before from P2! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zfg02kQsE8k Why do I get this text rather than video frame?2 points

My life wouldn't be worth living if i were to join the dreaded Facebook. Too many bunny boiling nutters from my past waiting to catch up with me. I have 4 kids that i know about, I don't need anymore surprises.2 points

How did this guy manage to wedge this Laguna in between this armco..? And it must have been driven in as the offside is proper cut up on the armco. More to the point, how did they get out..? On the B4088 just outside Evesham on the road to Norton. Its just after a round about and it is a foreign motor so I guess they might have had a 'what side of the road do they drive on, tell you what, lets try for the middle..' moment.1 point

Well guys my trial period expired this morning, so Ive taken the plunge and now got myself affiliated The information I've received so fat has been great, and Im looking forward to getting one sorted and hitting the road. Will try and get along to meets etc when time allows.1 point

Barny You need to do some research as you have Cortina uprights and can't change your steering arms, so you may need to go a little quicker than the std 2.4 quick rack s that are available.1 point

Hi Guy's I am sure the car will be re-incarnated in one form or another! I hope Duck is not too worse for wear and will recover quickly from joining the "Cedar Spin Club" Thinking of you all Glutey1 point

Ohhh contensious issue I say yes it takes some of the heat out of the engine bay. And if you have a tatty exhaust ( like me ) it covers up the rust....1 point

All from 1997 kit that has done less than 10,000 miles and now replaced with Zetec. As a package this would suit a economic new build. All sensible offers considered.
