  2. this made me laugh. its not overly rude but you might not want your kids to read it A German guy approaches one of the ladies of the night. 'I vish to buy zex vit shoo.' 'OK,' says the girl, 'I'll charge 50 euro an hour.' '..ist gutte, but I must varn you, I am a little kinky, ja?' 'No problem,' she replies cautiously, 'I can do a little kinky.' So off they go to the girl's flat, where the German produces four large bedsprings and a duck caller. 'I vant zat you tie ze springs to each of your Hans und knees.' The girl finds this most odd, but complies, fastening the springs as he had said, to her hands and knees.. 'Now you vill get on your Hans und knees.' She duly does this, balancing precariously on the springs. 'You vill please to blow zis kwacker as I make love to you.' She finds it odd, but figures it's harmless (and after all, the guy is paying.) She finds the sex is fantastic, as she is bounced all over the room by the energetic German, all the time honking on the duck caller. Her climax is the most sensational that she has ever experienced and it is several minutes before she has enough breath to say, 'Wow!!! That was totally amazing, what do you call that position ?' 'Ah,' says the German . . .'zat is ze.... . . . . . . . . . . Four-sprung Duck technique

  4. We've lived in Harrogate for over 20 years, our children are becoming increasingly independent and so we've decided to downsize and move to North Norfolk. It's where my wife comes from. The really great news is that Robin Parker (aka Red Spider) has agreed to take over as Yorkshire AO. We'll actually have a handover period while our house is being sold. I'm sure he'll do a magnificent job for all Yorkshire members and those from Lancs, Mancs and Peaks as well. Thank you so much Mr Spider for 'volunteering' - you are a proper hero! We shall be sad to leave Harrogate in all sorts of ways and leaving the Yorkshire Area of the WSCC and all my local Westfield mates is for me high up on that list. Even if it needs a longer diff (as Natterjack has humorously suggested), I’ll be keeping the Westy in Norfolk and we even might buy a house with a garage! Now which will be my nearest meet??

  5. After Martins shock announcement this morning, I think I'm coming to terms with it. I suppose one slightly willing volunteer/victim is better than none. No, seriously Martin asked me a while back to think about taking over and I thought, alright I'll give it a go, how hard can it be? I guess I'll find out soon. My only experience with anything like this was being the manager of my sons football team, with no interest in the game we had one win in two years when the other team didn't turn up, let's hope I do a better job here. I've owned my Westfield for just over 2 years and a member of the club for the same time, I couldn't have wished for a warmer welcome and met a lot of good people, with a lot of sound advice and good humour. I hope I can count on everyone to help me out where needed. Martin has done a good job in the Yorkshire Area and I hope I can carry on in the same manner and also introduce some new runs and meetings to the calendar. If anyone has any ideas, then I'm open to listen to any suggestions that may come up. I'm not promising to make every run or meeting, but I will do my best. So what does the future hold? I don't know, but I'm sure I'll muddle through somehow. I want to wish Martin and his wife all the best for the future in Norfolk and I'm sure we'll see him again.

  6. Hi everyone Here are the photos that Andrew took last night as I didn't take my phone I use to take pictures for forums. Good turnout last night and there were still people arriving as we left. Thanks for organising Martin, and for everyone turning up (you know who you are) and making it an enjoyable evening. Here are the photos; And Tricky, Andrew thought your car sounded ace even though it surprised him and me Cheers Barry & Andrew

  8. I have just acquired enough carbon material to make 10 sets of carbon side panels. These will be made by myself using own tooling with this new material. Either 2x2 twill or spread tow. The finish will be second to none and can be confirmed by some previous buyers. The price is £260 a pair + £10 postage. Usual terms, not happy, then a full refund. Hoping to be shedbound. Mick.

  21. Depends how fast you want to go. Its a well known fact in the community that Yellow ones are faster.

  22. I wouldn't have said the 'Lardy Ones' 1.8 needed it, but whist drained down thought I'd go for one with appearing such good value. Temperature does appear to be more stable, same running temp but with fan cutting in less in standing traffic.

  28. 'Driving fun not outright speed' absolutely & even modest power gives good acceleration in such light cars. I recon around 150-180 is about right for an allround Westie.

  29. Quite true. Mine is around 175-180hp at the fly. It has plenty more ability than I have so before I add more power I need to add more skill and practice. Even before I went for TBs etc and was running 130hp it was plenty on the road for me. Only really notice 'being slow' on a track day with the more skilled drivers on here... and if on the road if someone decides to go beyond the speed limit on a dual carriageway. I think the Westfield adds more fun/speed feel factor over a 4 door saloon with 400hp plus tho. At least I feel some essence of speed and thrill at 70mph. Driving fun not outright speed.
