  3. There are two types of Facet pumps (well, three actually !!) - the electronic "solid state" one and the "interrupter" type. I've used the "Red Top" interrupter for years on my 45DCOE's as I needed a reasonable flow rate (I also have a fuel regulator/filter as well) and it's behaved itself though I have heard the solid state ones are more prone to failures. Some useful info here : https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/knowledge_base_articles/view/facet-fuel-pumps-for-vehicles-running-carburettors-282

Got the westy at work this morning as dropping it off to garage after work to look at misfire/fueling issue so first trip out with the half hood. Can't believe the difference it makes! Actually quite civilised (...ish) Noticeably more exhaust noise and restricts visibility a touch but really chuffed with it Support bars are a definite requirement as without them I feel it would have been bowing a fair bit in the middle. Roof bars held it just nicely and tested up to approx 70mph with little or no flapping Dave

  6. Yeah it's had a bit of trick HDR work Normally you would mix three different photos at different exposures - however there are various ways of getting a HDR look with just one shot

  8. Here is the picture that was taken of the cars in front of the Provost Jet Engine. It is not a great copy I am afraid.

  9. I wouldn't think it will be a big problem. Most scrutineers know what an MSA spec roll bar looks like Don't forget despite some comments they do actually want to pass your car and be helpful to allow you to compete. It's why you often hear comments such as "get that sorted for next event"
