  2. An eventful day on Tuesday set off to Playskool for geo and new tyres, battery charge light came when I set off from home, (its a westfield i thought won't use hardly any juice from York to Durhamon a lovely sunny day) Wrong!! 12 miles from Playskool dropped to 8 volts and that was that. Luke came to the rescue and bought me a couple of batteries to get me to his spot so at least i could get the work done, then sort out getting home later on. Luke then found me a alternator that he very kindly allowed me to rob the good bits from and fix mine which worked a treat (and still is) Luke did a first class job setting my car up and it has transformed the car completely. I can't recommend playskool highly enough. if you are up north and thinking of a geo set up or any other work give Luke a ring you won't be disappointed. His work and customer service is second to none. Thanks again Luke. Cheers Greggs...

  3. Came home this evening to find a envelope for me ... A introduction letter , two copies of westfield world , keyfob and a sticker !! Never expected it at all so well chuffed ! Cannot wait for our Westfield ownership to start ...won't be long now Maybe a little intro and about our plans and how I have ended up here Me and my sister are looking for a Westfield to basically track-day round all circuits that our dad spent many years at being a race mechanic but sadly passed away in 2008. We were a massive petrol head family and it's really taken this long to even be remotely interested in cars and motorsport again with the bug really biting again. So currently waiting for a house sale to go through (should get signing date any time next 2 weeks) which then will get us our Westfield to start the adventure. The wait has actually been good for us not to rush into anything and decide what we really want ! I didn't think I would be but getting very intrigued with bike engines ?! Cheers Dave

  4. I looked at the GBS zero before I ordered my Westfield. TBH I preferred the GBS retro look but I bought the Westfield for almost exactly the reason it turned you off.The manual is clear and holds my hand when I need it. I have had little trouble getting bits from WF and the support from the factory lets me sleep at night. It takes all sorts to make a world and a car I suppose.

  5. Yes Richard, that is a mighty fine picture you have taken there for the calendar this month. I might be a bit biased though eh! In case anyone is interested it was taken last summer on a run out around the Peak District. It is taken from the top of Mam Nick in the Hope Valley and looks out over Kinder Scout which is the highest point of the Peak District at 2087ft. It is between Castleton and Edale. It is a popular hill climb with cyclists with it's steep and twisty road. So although we don't have the dramatic high scenery of other areas of Britain here, I don't think we do too bad.

  6. You won't believe this, I had their catalogue sent through and it arrived the day before we left. Wife and girls were packing Hello and OK and other mags as light reading, I stuffed Issue 29 of CBS's catalogue in MY bag!

  10. Very interesting, I'm not sure I'd want my 700 bhp super car being built by a team the owner describes as "semi-skilled"
