  2. I thouroughly enjoyed helping out for a couple of hours with the refreshments stall on Monday. Talking Westfields with helpers and guests was a real pleasure. The "left luggage" service was really helpful as I accumulated carrier bags of purchases and brochures during the day). Looking forwards, there are some great ideas such as better badging, picture wall, Q and A forms on the cars. Regarding noise testing, amongst other things in motor sport, I am an MSA Environmental Scrutineer so could easily bring along Oxford Motor Club's meter and carry out tests as required. It will easily fit in the footwell of my Eleven - which will be finished and at Stoneleigh next May! Huge thanks to the many people who put far more effort into the weekend than I - to make it all possible, impressive ad welcoming.

  8. Pleased to report they arrived, well packed and in perfect condition. A 'perfect storm' of Parcel Monkey, Yodel and a slightly difficult address resulted in them going AWOL for 2 weeks... Fortunately they were recovered and redelivered with Parcel Force, can't wait to fit! Thanks Dan

  10. Its taken some time but my Westfield replacement project had finally made it across the pond. Bought unseen it's turned out to be in much better order than I thought, very tempting to take in a couple of sprints before I start a restoration but I must stick to the plan. Just for the record it's a 1974 Lola T340 Formula Ford

  12. I feel the need for a new J class - either Pre 75 formula fords or Kent engined cars built to formula ford regulations :-) Great looking car, well worth importing from USA. You will have a lot of fun with it. Howard, James - you know you want one and it will be an appreciating asset. What more could you ask for; a car that you can compete in and it keeps going up in value.

  13. Yeah, I've seen this one but I'm holding out till my new side mirrors are delivered My current mirrors, as nice as they are to look at, they are a pain to adjust, and way too small for a good view behind me. Hoping the new ones solve those problems... and then I won't need the centre mirror

  14. EBay mirrors £19 GSXR. The base plates weren't the right size so I had to attack them with a file: Rear view mirror 4.3" TFT:

  15. Could we have a photo wall set up in the tent and put the competition winners and calendar photos on it, it would provide a bit more visual interest for visitors to feast on.

  16. Not sure what make they are (probably Racetech?). I don't have a centre mirror, but I am looking for one of those that sit on a stalk...

  17. As many have said a very well organised show so hats off to all. Could there be more integration between the WSC and WSCC? Could they not have a stand within the marquee to chat to owners and even sell a few parts and in exchange the WSCC are present on their stand? After all a big part of building/owning a Westfield is the 'club' part of it which WSC cannot provide. How about a 'tech talk' corner where someone with a good knowledge of WF's (aka a Gadgetman et al.) could be on hand to answer questions regarding all things Westfield. Its popular on this forum so might be in the marquee.
