  2. I'm considering getting a tattoo artist in next year so members who wish to do so can have their names and forum nicknames tattooed on their foreheads. This will be costly at first but means the number of badges and labels we have to produce and the cost every year will go steadily down. Any volunteers?

  3. From a trader's perspective, it was another fantastic show and was great to meet alot of you from here. It's always a crying shame I never get a chance to go out and see the outside marquee and the Westfield Avenue! A bit of feedback from myself. Due to it been a bit of a trek down from up north I can arrive fairly late in the day on the Saturday to setup, would it be possible for there to be a sign to say where I need to be setting up, as I appreciate by the time I arrive there might not be the relevant person in the know on where I need to be setup. Also every year I camp on site, normally within the members area. This year it was boxed off and as I camp in the back of the hire van normally I and the guys who come and help me ended up camping elsewhere. Most year's I tend to make an appearance in the marquee, all be it for not to long, being on your feet all day talking to you lot knackers you out quite alot and I'm getting old now! With been camped elsewhere this year it was a bit of trek so didn't make the effort, which is a shame as we do have a drinking reputation to uphold! The name badges are great, so anyway of getting more of these would be superb, if someone want's to contact me with regards to sponsoring this in some way then please let me know. Other than that, I've got to say the Westfield club put's on a tremondous show and I'm very proud to have been a member of the club for all of these years!! (I believe I've been involved with Westfields now for over half my life time now!)

  4. This illustrates perfectly why it's not a problem in my books. Yes, we're the Westfield Sports Car Club, but do we want to look or be considered as snobbish in the same way other car clubs do? Most definitely not! It's not like we ran out of space! You were and are most welcome

  5. Could we have a photo wall set up in the tent and put the competition winners and calendar photos on it, it would provide a bit more visual interest for visitors to feast on.

  6. Aye, as I said in the other thread, a truly heroic Westfielding adventure given the dire predictions about the weather. Great to see you down, sorry we didn't get longer to speak. I must admit, when I was staring out at the rain at something past six Sunday morning, it was the thought of what you guys had done that spurred me on to get the Westfield out.

  8. With regards to my earlier post about the position of the marquee, I feel like the entrance way from the drift experience feels like 'walking in through a back door' with the grand entrance on the side of the marquee. When I arrived early on Sunday morning this is the layout at that time. However I think that a slight movement of the marquee with a different positioning of cars would make for a more 'Grand entrance' from the Drift experience side and the area where many non Westfield/Kitcar owners may be walking from (the halls).

  9. This boot box came from my 02 Westie. This genuine Westfield product has been cut to accommodate the original chrome hoop roll bar and harness fixing points. Also has the cut outs for the rear struts of the RAC type roll bar. £25.00

  10. Its taken some time but my Westfield replacement project had finally made it across the pond. Bought unseen it's turned out to be in much better order than I thought, very tempting to take in a couple of sprints before I start a restoration but I must stick to the plan. Just for the record it's a 1974 Lola T340 Formula Ford

  17. Had a decent day in the end.. It started off wet wet wet, then around lunchtime, the sun came out and dried it out nicely. I've uploaded some photos here: http://s133.photobucket.com/user/dixonandrew/library/Croft%20trackday%205th%20May%202015?sort=3&page=1 A selection.
