  2. Good day, bad day, really though. Good day being really good fun with Westy mates and their cars, as well as the MX5 chaps who are always good value and the weather was ace, once it warmed up Bad day, cos Dom's throttle bodies really work and I can no longer claim, Mazda SDV 1600/1800 bragging rights. I couldn't keep up with him and I was trying! Heck, was I trying! You were flying, Dom!

  3. That was no problem. We were taught at school that all you needed was to quickly build a shelter from a table and doors, cover with blankets and get under, we would be fine. And we had the skills to do that all in less than two minutes without moaning. If you told kids today that.......

  4. Turn the clock back to the 1960's please------------------- Cars were easier to fix then. Petrol was 1/6 a gallon. Girls wore Mini Skirts. No such thing as Political Correctness. Exceeding the 70mph limit was a target. Hit the other guy back even harder than he hit you. Thought this would make the youngster chuckle and maybe the Baby Boomers like me add to the list.

  7. A man walks into his bedroom with a sheep under his arm. His wife is lying in bed reading. The man says, "This is the pig I have sex with when you've got a headache." His wife replies, "I think you'll find that is a sheep." The man replies, "I think you'll find I was talking to the sheep."

  12. Gone for them all. By the way you won't need a doggy bag, there'll be a goody bag for everyone at the end if it's the same as last year!!!! Remember there's a navette doing the rounds in the evenings, so no-one has to drive anywhere, just phone and wait to be picked up and taken into St Goueno, then drink and eat as much as you like!!!!

  13. Looks like this post has got out of hand…I think the original post was only asking a question (with a bit of tongue and cheek) Maybe we need to lighten up…and enjoy life (and of course our motors)...

  15. I have a brand new 'Half Cage , MSA Specification' as Westfield describe it....... http://parts-shop.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/body-interior-electrical/body-fittings-trim-rollbars?product_id=706 Never been fitted, obviously I have all the fittings as well. Would be prepared to part with it for £300, save yourself £50ish and no wait. Collection from Bristol or delivery at your cost.

  16. I suspect from the O/Ps post she is looking for the braced MSA approved rollbar? If my assumption is correct, thehn you may have a problem finding a second hand one as the Westfield factory haven't been offering them for very long. So it might be a choice between a new factory one, or a Playskool one.
