We met at The Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow. A lovely country pub with 2 real fires on the go. If we were sane, normal functioning adults we would have ordered a beef dinner each and settled down for a cosy afternoon. But we had invited Rickyboy so that was out then.
We were doubled up with laughter, Glen cursing getting in and out of the car 'I can't bend my knees' 'the exhaust is on my side you know' oh funny. Then Richard called us The Traffic Light Gang, red, yellow and green cars. Green is best, it means GO. We have had a crazy day.
Following Richard and Liz over to Edale, on to Macclesfield and up to The Cat and Fiddle. We passed some snow, found all the fog and it tipped it down constantly.

We even look clean here, we were not I can assure you. I have just spent 2 hours cleaning it all off with Glen.
Roads or rivers?
Don't look at the big gap in the top left of the picture, I have one my side, it squirts water at you occasionally, well often actually.
A very swollen river Manifold where we stopped for a much needed nervous breakdown, oh, I mean coffee.
Don't forget The Bumble Bee
After finding our rear ends! I led the last bit through Julie's favourite little tunnel at Hulme End and on to Monyash for lunch.
Then it was off home to mop the carpets and more laughing.
I definitely would have cancelled today so thank you to Ricky and Freya for forcing us out and to Richard and Liz for joining in. It is a day we will laugh about for a long time to come.
