What a fantastic 1/2 day. Big thanks to Simon, Giles, Ash and Becky. I'm now worried that I can't control a car with 120bhp, so what am I going to do with the power of my Mega S2000 I'm building!

I have just come in from the garage and started my Westfield for the fist time since October... I'm so happy... Beer in hand to celebrate... I don't think my wife really gets it! I have been changing my dashboard and changed to savage switches. The new switches need relays and dimming circuits, I also wanted to add a start button which lights up when ignition on but turns off once the engine is started. I WAS a total novice to car wiring but feel I could tackle anything now. I love having a Westfield its such a great car to learn new things and I have owned it for 7 years! I understand if no one replies to this it's just my opportunity to share my excitement.

I think it would fit a Panda, but his paws wouldn't reach end of the sleeves

Kind of what I expected - dumb switches. Easy to understand and improve upon. Been a while since I've done electronic circuit design but will be good to refresh

Left and right indicator. Got the buttons from ebay here. Horn button works as normal too. I'm using this to connect the wheel/buttons to the dash where I fitted one of these which has a butchered up cat5 cable on the other side. It's all in a low current circuit, so cat5 works great

Ive found an awnser, there the discovery rears, i sent westfield a photo and they confirmed this they were very helpful so good on them. Unfortunatley it would seem that there are no upgraded pads available for them according to westfield, unless anyone knows different? I guess the next step would be to upgrade the callipers, however after having a westy previously fitted with hi spec 4 pots with ap master cylinder i found they hardly improved the braking at all so im loathed to spend that kind of money again
