Wow, what a day! That was simply fantastic, perfect weather, good mates and an adrenalin filled day of sprinting - what more could you want?? Dave - that engine is mega, it has far more to offer, I can't wait to get to grips with it! Marto - cheers for everything you did to help me get the car ready for today, it has way more potential than my talent! 2nd in class B on my first outing - I'm a very happy bunny!!! Anyone who is thinking about sprinting - stop thinking and get going, it's awesome!4 points

Ok here we go then, first up my fastest timed run @ 81.33 sec ( my fastest run was P2 81.15 ) without the misssed gears thrown in this could have been a little quicker Then T2 82.10 sec with a big moment before I even got on the oval1 point

I'll second that Martyn, Thanks Julie and Glen. 1st decent run under its belt, just over 100 miles in a day and apart from a camber adjuster coming loose there were no supprises. Thanks to Martyn for his trusty tool kit.1 point

If you know a local friendly landlord you can use a co2 cylinder from the brewery, you just need a co2 regulator and pipe adapter if you have the small gas pipe on your welder.1 point

Cosworth (Turbo) Westfield SEiW, Red £11,000 This is a very well put together, sorted and particularly well presented car. Originally built as a pinto in 1998 and subsequently upgraded in 2003 with the Cosowrth 2wd engine and running gear. The engine underwent extensive refurbishment by John Toovey Racing full receipts available. Since then the car has done a genuine 10k miles, including three trips to Le Mans (and back!) and runs very well, it is also very quick and drives effortlessly. The car has only ever done club meets, Coast to Coast, and Le Mans trips (inc 2008 CLM) it has all the build and upgrade receipts and full Westfield manual, also includes an original cosworth workshop manual. Pictures of build and doner car (Sapphire Cosworth 2wd). Car is registered on a non-Q plate and has been thoroughly pampered over the last three years, it is a well known car amongst the WSCC and always receives nice attention and complementary comments. It is taxed until end September 2008 and has an MOT until end October 2008. Limited mileage (5k) insurance through Adrian Flux with WSCC membership was £220 fully comprehensive. Specification includes: - Cosworth YB 2.0L 16v Turbo (T3), standard Cosworth T5 Borg Warner box and LSD - Burton Power cosworth fuel pump - Magnecor power race HT leads - Dyno tested to 265 bhp, lb/ft torque (including test printouts) - Race Technology (RT) Digital Dash2 (inc full user manual) - bought direct from Westfield including there standard plug and play loom. - Fitted with a Turbo Smart boost controller for on the fly turbo boost setting (inc full instruction manual) - Bespoke Radtech radiator and plumbing with a Davies Craig electric water pump.
