  1. ‘So you really enjoy driving your Westfield do you?’ ‘Yes, of course’ I hear you say. Well, lets see who enjoys life the most by entering this new competition, Julie’s Battle of the Odo’s. The MOT certificate records an odometer reading and this competition is looking for the biggest difference between the 2014 and the 2015 odometer reading on your Westfield’s MOT certificates. In my opinion getting the ‘Westfield’ miles in makes you a winner anyway. The prize is £50 worth of vouchers to spend at the Westfield Factory Parts Department to help with your maintenance costs. So put the tin tops away, get wrapped up and go for it. Big thanks to Simon Westwood and Westfield Sports Cars for generously donating the prize! The Boring Bits The mileage must be in a Westfield. The competition is open to WSCC members only, not the Committee or Area Organisers. Include your name, address and membership number with your entry. The closing date is midnight 15th November 2015. Submit entries to peak@wscc.co.uk with a copy of both MOT certificates attached. The judge’s decision is final. You must agree to your entry being published in Westfield World magazine and online in the WSCC forum. Prizes must be redeemed within 12 months, is non-transferable and no substitute prize or cash equivalent will be offered.

  2. Angus and I usually take the kits. Last year the weather was awesomely good both for camping and driving. I have been other years when this was far from the case. It is good crack to take the cars, There is an awesome p***-up on the Saturday night (ask Angus).

  4. Cars in the UK are cheap as chips compared to the continent. And exotic cars like ours are in demand too. It may well be genuine, but I would certainly thread with caution and do not release car until money has cleared and is irreversible....

  5. I know three people who have sold cars (not Westfields) into Europe. The buyer sent someone local to look at the car. Paid by BACS and then collected the car with a trailer a few weeks later. I met someone on here the other week that sold his megabusa to Italy.

As for what mode of transport to do it in ..............is there any other option other than the Westie!!!! Come on Doug Dastardly your a Scotsman from the highlands it is only water lol Having a pit stop in your area Rab is a good idea was thinking that as well, Doug could either meet there or met us in Aberdeen and come down to you.

  9. Sounds like someone's missed when topping the oil up. Does it look like it could have started round the oil filler cap ?
